If I could have given zero ⭐️'S, I would have. Echo Garden advertises they are open from 7am-7pm. It's Mother's Day today and I'm adding some plants to my home so I thought I'd come here to tackle two birds with one stone (add plants to my home and pick-up something for my grandmother). So I arrive at 7am and wait and wait and wait. For a second I'm thinking, it's Mother's Day, perhaps they are closed but thinking logically, what stores are closed on Mother's Day? So they drive-up and strole in near 7:20am and close the gates behind them. I call and ask "Are you open". The owner says "Yes." So I say "I'm at the front gate and it is locked." The owner say "Okay." and hangs-up on me. Not sure what only the word "Okay." means but it takes a worker another 10 minutes to pass right by me and say nothing before he opens the gate. I say "Hello!" and ask "Are you open?" He does not say anything back. So I walk in thinking...wow this is a friendly bunch! I look around aleady knowing what I am looking to buy and am ready to spend near $400. I pass the owner as well as the worker near 3-4 times each as I'm searching for what I came to buy and neither of them say one word to me. Not a "Hello." Not a "Can I help you". Zero! Ziltch! Nada! So I decide to make my way out and spend my money elsewhere while doing so I pass the owner and worker one last time and again neither of them even bat an eye/ don't even look-up at me. A little kindness especially if you are trying to run a business, goes a long way and to be blunt, most the plants and succulents I looked at did not look the most healthy out of all the other nurseries I've been to in my days. Easily, this is the worst nursery and definitly the worst business manner at a nursery, I've ever experienced. Think twice before supporting Echo Garden. Oh and one more thing. Yesterday I first called Echo Garden to ask if there was anyway I could send 3 photos so they could tell me if they had what I was looking to purchase and how much they would be and the owner rudely said "No, come in." I next called Nature's Perfections and asked the same question and the person I spoke with gladly said "Yes!" and returned my text of photos with availability and prices (even price ranges depending on sizes). The only reason I'm not currently at Nature's Perfections is because they don't open until 10am and I was hoping to get all my plants so that I can make it to the cemetery to visit my step-mom (bearing flowers) and then to my grandmothers home (bearing plants). I'll be waiting until 10am now and giving my money to Nature's Perfections for their good business sense and professional mannerism.

Read moreI drive by Echo Garden all the time and always want to check out some flowers and plants for my place. I was in need to get some fertilizers for plants, vegetables, and flowers. I also need some hoes and gardening tools for future use. Anyway, long story in short. I finally got to go this place. There is no parking lot in the front or the rear. Just park on the street. And the entrance is on the smaller street not on York Blvd. Once you get in, you'll find yourself standing in a jungle and have difficulty finding a path to walk "into" the store. After I saw the lady, owner, I greed to her. She did not show much response. I approached her asking about gardening and fertilizer. She simply pointed out where the fertilizers are and showed me the differences (brands and prices) between them. I was expecting to have some conversation regarding how to take care of plants and flowers, and grow your own veggies. Nope. No smile, no interactions, no tools, nothing. I was surprised by someone who has huge variety of plants and runs business would not be enthusiastic about talking about plants. And the fertilizers that I got were small pack and much more expensive then Home Depot. Maybe I just have bad luck. I always like to support local shops, but this one......I'll...
Read moreI went there today to get several fruit trees. I started by asking for a 5 gallon lemon tree. I already bought pots for the smaller trees and I live in a place where everything has to be in pots until I get my own place. There was an older asian man chain smoking showing me around. I was gagging and sickened by the smoke. I was glad my kids weren't here sucking down the smoke. I pointed out a 5 gallon bucket like the size you get at Home Depot and he said that one was a 7 gallon so it was $59 instead of the $39 for the 5 gallon one. I told him it was the same size as the 5 gallon bucket I bought from Home Depot and he yelled at me "I TOLD YOU # TIMES THAT IS THE & GALLON ONE!" And then walked away from me. I went around the corner and asked the asian woman if they had any 5 gallon lemon trees. She told me "Yes, we do". She pointed over to the area that the smoking guy already took me to and we looked through them all and there was nothing. I looked again and then told her there was nothing there. Then she told me she had some inside as she pointed to another area, while walking off in another direction. I went inside the entire building and there weren't even plants inside the building, just a bunch of chatchkey items. I left. I will...
