J&Y Law Injury and Accident Attorneys — Attraction in Los Angeles

When looking for a company to represent my family in a car accident case, it can feel very difficult to know who to trust. I was recommended to these lawyers by family friends, and when the process started I was very happy with the people I spoke with, including staff and my lawyer Jason directly. My car collision case took one year to close after my family's final physical therapy appointment.

There were definitely some bumps in the road, as far as what I expected in communication from various staff members who had my file throughout the process. The amazing thing about this company is you have the option to reach out directly to your lawyer ANYTIME you feel confused about something.

Any time you have a question or a concern about the process - such as, when your medical bills will be paid, co pays and deductibles reimbursed, if you want to choose your own chiropractor (which I did), if you say your done with treatment and then need to add on more physical therapy (which i also did) or if you need car seats replaced and rental car paid, don't hesitate to contact Jason or Yosi directly. Ingrid was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

There were times that I felt frustrated with staff explanations and whenever I reached out to Yosi and Jason directly to ask what they could do to make this process easier on me, they made me feel listened to, taken care of and ultimately the happiest I've ever been with a company representing what is best for my family.

My lesson from this first time experience is, not to sit with upset or hurt feelings, you should always ask questions as soon as it comes up because these guys ARE AVAILABLE and extremely knowledgeable. Let them know right away if you feel like something wasn't explained well or if you had a hard time with an experience and they will help!

Just fired them and replaced them with a (hopefully) more competent legal team. They run you around in circles, and they never follow up. It seems like when they do follow up they try to confuse you, and they don't provide you with any information or real update. They had told me they were trying to obtain medical records for MONTHS. Under HIPAA laws, when a patient or representative requests medical documents, the records department has 30 days to produce the records or they need to provide in writing a request for extended time. It was obvious they were not working on the records. They passed me around from person to person, so you never know who to contact, and the only time the actual attorney will reach out to you is if you threaten to find different representation. I'm pretty sure one of them was drunk when we spoke on the phone last +- March as well. Things will resolve for about a week and then, the games continue. They are almost 2 years into my case, and have made very little progress. They didn't even know who they were sending demand packages to at one point and because of this confusion, this extended things for months longer. You would think they would know who they are suing from the start, but then again I'm not an attorney myself. Once they received notice I switched attorneys they still attempted to send demands and contact me. They also lied to me and/or my current attorney about when they sent out demands. They had told me they sent it out a couple weeks ago and they had told my attorney it had been more than a month since the demand was sent out. We are still waiting to get the dates back from the insurance company to verify.

Just remember you can always change attorneys at any time. Do it now before it's too late.

I typically don't leave reviews, but my experience with J&Y Law was nothing short of incredible. In 2019, I was involved in a terrifying traffic accident with a semi-truck. The truck sideswiped my vehicle, dragging it for a block before speeding away, leaving me traumatized and in immense pain.
