I couldn't recommend Sonya enough to a specific clientele - and that is individuals looking to see significant results, no matter what. Some of the reviews before mine talk about Sonya's tell-it-like-it-is persona, and I have to say, isn't that the persona we should ALL be looking for when it comes to feeling and looking our absolute best? Sonya is not a facialist. She is a highly trained, expert chemist and knows every component of every single intricately crafted potion in her line. She may push products, sure, but that comes with decades of experience and a track record to back it up. If you want a one-time, relaxing spa style facial, this might not be the best fit for you, and shame on those people who write reviews as if that was the experience they were told they would get. Sonya gives tough love because she is driven by progress, results, and meaningful change. No matter your skin issue or concern, she will know exactly what to prescribe to help you in order to get you results and to get them fast, oftentimes just by looking at you. Sonya also uses an inside out approach, meaning she understands as a doctor would what may be happening internally to inhibit your ability to see external results. I am frustrated reading anything other than glowing reviews because if Sonya cared only about selling products, she would not promote supportive solutions like vitamins and supplements, Accupuncture, and other affordable, holistic practices to get her customers the best and quickest results. She is incredibly bright and treats her customers like family. She is also available 24/7 to answer questions about products or flare ups no matter what. Sure, I've had a dispenser in a product not work before and she immediately switched it out for me, no questions asked. Once you embark on a journey with her, you have her for life. Truly a NIGHTMARE of an experience. I booked an appointment for a facial, but my consultation lasted over an hour and consisted of her telling me about the influencers who promote her and trying to sell me on a six-week bootcamp for an exorbitant price. I said no and we proceeded with a facial only, where she referenced my "slanted eyes" multiple times, walked in and out, and spent the majority of the time she was there telling me the only new clients she needs are influencers because they promote her. Since the appointment went way over time, I had to take a work conference call as I was checking out. I told Sonya multiple times I was on a work call, but she continued to loudly push an entire line of products on me saying how bad my skin is and how much I need her products. I was flustered and felt pressured and wanted to get out of there. After I left and finished my work calls, I called back and said I wanted to return the products because I never intended to buy them and didn't appreciate the aggressive sales tactics/pressure, especially while I was on a work call at the same time. Sonya refused to the products back and continued to literally yell and berate me on the phone. I have quite honestly never experienced anything like that or been spoken to that way. Horrible experience. Sonya is a scam artist and has horrible customer service. She is rude, aggressive, and down right mean. She coerced me into purchasing products that I said upfront that I couldn’t afford. She was also 1.5 hours late to the appointment and spent more time haggling me to buy things than spending time on my skin. I spent 500 on a facial and told her I didn’t have money for products and she almost didn’t do the facial for me. We agreed on $100 worth of product and at the end she forced me into buying $250 worth of product. I felt truly embarrassed and pressured. She wouldn’t take no for an answer. She was also so rude and was criticizing my skin and telling me how unhealthy I am and that’s why I have bad skin. This woman is a total scammer and no one should ever go here.
