Having tried out several types of massage parlors (is that still what we call them?), I am often skeptical to try a new place. However, I'm tired of many of the chain companies as I find their service to be sub-par and too expensive for what they actually offer.
I read some of the reviews and decided to give this place a try and I was absolutely not disappointed. It is close to LAX (which is near where I stay when I am here for work), so it was already convenient in that regard. I normally prefer male therapists (and even checked to have a male on the sign in sheet), but apparently there were none available when I went and so I ended up with Tanya...and I'm so glad that I did!
I requested to have deep tissue/sports/trigger point/Thai massage techniques applied during my sessions. Tanya was hard at work the entire hour. Read moreI told the lady, her name is June, that I need surgery soon because I have bulging disc’s at L2-3 but first I have to have physical therapy that’s part of the due diligence before you have surgery. In the meantime my left shoulder is burning I could barely walk because my sciatic nerves are hurting a lot and both of them. I explained all that I could.
June started very slowly like a relaxing message and a lot of stretching and manipulation. The whole time she asked me is this hurting me. I always said no but I almost said yes. Anyway she slowly took me apart in a very good way.
She distressed at least 5 areas like my neck, shoulders my arms and back. Oh she worked very hard to fix me. I feel so wonderful now my hands aren’t falling to sleep and I can walk without my back brace. And I am still a little sore from the massage but it’s nothing compared to sciatic nerve pain and burning shoulder pain.
I highly recommend LAX message. June is highly skilled at...
