The manager Alexis is a poor fitting manager! I am writing to report an incident that occurred at your 0n December 28 I was purchasing a pair of Nike socks marked at $7.99. However, when I got to the register, the cashier informed me that the tag was incorrect. I calmly explained that the item should be honored at the marked price since it was displayed that way.
The cashier then called the store manager, who proceeded to accuse me and my husband of changing the price tag, despite the tag being properly adhered to the item. The manager refused to honor the price and claimed that the store did not price the item, which raised the question of how the incorrect tag ended up on the merchandise in the first place.
Instead of resolving the matter professionally, the manager became argumentative and eventually told us to leave the store. I refused to leave as I simply wanted to purchase the item at the price displayed. I also expressed my dissatisfaction with the manager’s behavior, as I believe it is a manager’s responsibility to provide good customer service and handle such situations respectfully.
I found the manager’s accusations and conduct unprofessional and disrespectful. I am a regular Ross shopper and have never encountered such treatment before. I hope this matter can be addressed appropriately, as this experience was extremely...
Read moreLast week I went to this especific Ross location. I found a great deal in the clearence section I went to the fitting room as I'm approaching the attendent I'm telling my sister the great price that I found. Attendent asked how many items I said 5, she goes through them, "counting", pulls out that one item, hands me the other 4, gives me the number and puts the other item to the side. I then tell her that it's 5 and that I want to try that one too. She chuckels a bit and says "Oh, I'm sorry, it's because this item doesn't have the security pin." In my head I'm like, "oh really?". I tell her, "okay" and stood there as to wait for her to put one on. She looks at me and then says "Oh, it's okay you can take it with you." I come out with two little piles of the clothing items, one on each forearm. I tell her, while moving my arms at each given moment, "I'm taking these and I'm leaving these." She then tries take the wrong pile with the clearanced, low priced item and I had to correct her. My presumption, after analyzing the situation, is that She is taking advantage of her position to capitalize on marked down/clearance/low priced/great deals, clothing items. Samething happened to my Mom today, main reason for...
