Coffee, a beloved elixir for many, is more than just a beverage; it's a ritual, an experience, and for some, a way of life. As an avid coffee enthusiast, I've had the pleasure of indulging in a variety of brews from around the globe, each offering its own unique charm and character.
One of the most remarkable aspects of coffee is its versatility. From the bold and robust flavors of a dark roast to the delicate and nuanced notes of a light roast, there is a brew to suit every palate. Whether you prefer a classic espresso shot, a creamy cappuccino, or a refreshing cold brew, the world of coffee offers endless possibilities for exploration.
One of my recent discoveries was a single-origin Ethiopian coffee, known for its fruity and floral undertones. The aroma alone was enough to transport me to the lush coffee farms of Ethiopia, while each sip revealed layers of complexity that left me craving more. It was a reminder of the rich cultural heritage behind every cup of coffee and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into its production.
But coffee isn't just about the taste; it's also about the experience. There's something magical about starting your day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, the comforting warmth enveloping your senses as you take that first invigorating sip. Whether enjoyed alone with a good book or shared with friends over lively conversation, coffee has a way of bringing people together and fostering connections.
Of course, no discussion of coffee would be complete without mentioning the role it plays in our daily lives. For many, myself included, coffee is a source of energy and inspiration, fueling creativity and productivity throughout the day. Whether tackling a challenging project at work or simply seeking a moment of solace amidst the hustle and bustle of life, a cup of coffee is often the perfect companion.
Icoffee is more than just a beverage; it's a journey of discovery and delight. From its diverse array of flavors to its ability to bring people together, coffee holds a special place in the hearts of millions around the world. So, whether you're a seasoned coffee connoisseur or just beginning your caffeinated adventure, I encourage you to explore the world of coffee and savor every moment along the way. Cheers to the...
Read moreThis will definitely be my go to brunch spot while I'm in LA. The service here is unmatched which is definitely a way to keep loyal customers. Everyone was so courteous & helpful. I could tell they were so busy but made sure to check on us several times. Even the manager (I think) took plates from our table and asked how the food was which I thought was really humble of him.
My bf and I stopped by The Coffee Company on a whim after hearing we should check it out from a coworker. We went on a Friday morning and was told the wait would be about 35 minutes (which isn't terrible). We walked around the neighborhood to pass the time.
Tip! They do have a live waitlist on Yelp so it'd be better to just add your name that way instead of in person to save time.
We both ordered hot tea (chamomile & mint) + ice water w/ lemon to start. They also have bottles of champagne starting at $10 (and more pricer bottles like Moet and Veuve Clicquot if you really want to ball out). I truly loved everything I ordered! I started with the shrimp & grits which was topped with tomatoes, bacon + scallions and it came with a side of eggs, toast and a watermelon slice. I don't know why but the slice of watermelon was a nice touch to me, different but I liked it. I also will say I grew up on southern food + live in the south so these grits tasted a little different than what I'm used to (like no cheese added) but everything on top was seasoned so well it was still a nice balance. I also ordered a side of chicken wings & honestly they were my favorite thing on the menu, if you're a meat eater it's a must try! I also had a bite of their pancake and it was fluffy and delicious
Their menu has so many options so I can't wait to come back again and try something else! :) I'd definitely recommend...
Read morewould say this is my second favorite breakfast option in the Westchester area. The first being Dinah’s. It’s a bit different though because Dinah’s is a traditional diner and this is more of a breakfast or brunch type of location. Reminds me of the sort of place that you would want to bring mom on Mother’s Day. There is a ton of parking surrounding the restaurant with multiple different parking lots so parking will never be an issue. It was quite crowded when we arrived for a Sunday morning brunch but we only had to wait about two minutes to be seated. It’s very large on the inside with many different dining rooms. One thing I love is that each room has different wallpaper so it really has a kaleidoscope look when you walk in between the different rooms. They have a lot of great options on the menu so it’s the sort of place where you’ll be able to get many different things each time you visit. Our server was very polite and attentive, and all of our food items came out fairly quickly.
I started off with a Cappuccino and thought it was pretty good. It was a bit smaller and less smooth than I am used to but still I enjoyed it. For my meal, I chose the Eggs Benedict with a side of the Buttermilk Biscuits. I truly enjoyed both of them and thought they were great. The biscuits were very fluffy, which is my favorite type and the ham was very thick and tasty on the Benedict. I would definitely recommend both and would order them again in the future. I do wish that they would have hashbrowns instead of the O’Brien potatoes, but that’s more of a personal preference.
Overall a great breakfast option near LAX. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast spot and will stop in again next time I am...
