I've been going to this nail shop for years and I love them, but they guy who sits in the front who puts you on the list for the next available person is very rude! He was upset with me because I said "aye how many people does john have?" He walked up to me and said "my name not aye, I have a name didn't you go to school!" I responded calm and said "yes I did go to school and I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that don't be rude!" I guess me calling him rude triggered something because he got even more upset and said I don't have to service you, you can leave! I said "why are you so mad I'm calm what did I do to you" he said you called me aye I'm not aye I'm Hennessy" I said "I said okay I'm over that your still mad and I'm calm I'm not getting ghetto I'm not yelling I'm talking to you and your saying you don't have to service me!" He was like "you can go now" and pointed to the door. I laughed and said "I don't care, and still sat there!" Waiting to get services!" I sat there for about 10 mins when he walked up to john and pointed at me and told him not to do my nails! I asked john if he told him not to do my nails he said no! Then he walked up to tutu and did the exact same thing! He never walked up to me and said anything! So I walked over to him and asked him if he told them not to do my nails and why. He said "I no service you because you called me rude! I said you are rude and your unprofessional your mad at me for no reason! I didn't get loud with you I didn't cuss you out, and your refusing my service that's bs!! He had no logical reason to refuse my service and I want something to be done about it! I told him he is rude and unprofessional and I don't have to get my nails done at his shop! He begin to show me to the door as if he was going to push me out the door! I then cursed at him and he cursed back! He refused my service with out a legal reason! What...
Read moreI went here yesterday and there was no wait, and the guy who did my nails was very nice. The lady who did my feet, was also polite. They both took their time with my service, which I really enjoyed. My nails came out beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was the unsanitary area. The chairs are dirty, and when I washed my hands there were peanuts and trash all over the trashcan that I felt so uncomfortable. I just left the paper towel on top of the trash can, because I was scared to touch it. I'm a neat freak, and I was just disgusted. They don't have any spa chairs at all. There are chairs, just lined up in 2 rows, that don't even match and aren't even appealing. They need to be replaced. No privacy for those who want eyebrows or eyelashes from here. There was a guy who came in to sell his oils, which was cool, and I like that they allowed that. What I did not like was the obviously drugged and homeless guy coming in to sell laundry detergent.
I think with some cosmetic touches, a janitor, and more security, then this place would be pretty nice. Customer service and my results were pretty decent and I wouldn't have a problem going back. However, based on how dirty things are, I won't be. That alone, I just can't. I was so in a rush that I didn't mind to look around until I sat down. I paid under 40, for my hands and feet. That was pretty much why I went ahead and stayed after seeing this, instead of calling my boyfriend to come back to pick me up.
The area is on Western and MLK.. so of course some things are different. Just ignore it, if you decide to visit.
Overall 2 stars and no...

Please be informed that the esthetician named above glued the top and bottom eyelash of my left eye shut, during her failed attempt to install strip eye lashes. Thanh then attempted to pluck the excess glue out of my eyelashes. I literally had to stop her and rip my eyelashes off to open my eye!!! Not only was it extremely painful but when I asked her for her license to file a complaint all hell broke loose. The new front desk receptionist and new male coworker began to yell and accuse me of not wanting to pay (which I had already done) thank god for my credit card receipt. I had to call 911 for help. I’m...
