Los Feliz Med Spa — Attraction in Los Angeles

I prepaid for 3 IPL treatments in January. I had 2 and saw no results so the secretary said I would be booked for a consultation with Dr. Michelle Ware. Dr. Ware was super defensive from the second she walked in the door for my consultation. She didn't have my chart ready and didn't know anything about my treatment history. Then she said there was no way to tell if my IPL was working yet because it hadn't been enough time (4 months since the first treatment). Then she said you shouldn't do IPL in the summer so I should come back in the fall. Then she said there was no way to know if IPL would work because I might have some other medical problem causing chest redness. Then she said "All I can offer you is IPL! It's the gold standard!" Then she said I should double my treatments and do six of them. Then she said "I'm not denying it's red! It's clearly red!" Then she said they never took the proper photos at my first appointment. I'm really upset that I lost the money from my third appointment that I never got, but I would definitely never let these people touch me again. Dr. Ware was bizarre and definitely did not inspire confidence. Go...

RED-FLAG. I would seriously advise not going to this clinic. Dr. Ware, who "runs" the clinic had extremely poor conflict management skills and actually gaslit me when I described my dissatisfaction with my treatment. This doctor is trying to sneak off and avoid accountability. She demonstrated clearly: A. A Lack of Compassion B. A Lack of Professionalism C. Zero to None, Resolution Skills. I would not wish discussing anything that didn't go well with Dr. Ware upon anyone who is hurting because of the treatment at Los Feliz Med Spa, for it will only add insult to injury. Not only did she make my grievance all about her (so bizarre), she also hung up on me, while shouting at me, and has since decided she's going to ignore me and keep my money ($1,800) for a service that DID NOTHING at best or made my SYMPTOMS WORSE. Such a demoralizing experience....

Back again!!!!! 😍, and amazing experience from the time you walk in Jeff (and the new staff Members too) make it feel safe and welcoming experience. During Covid -times, it seems difficult to do almost anything. - be reassured that all the safety protocols are in place , And personally I felt extremely confident about the steps that they take to make you feel safe.
