I can't express enough how awful my experience with Metro Towing Company has been. These people are, without a doubt, the rudest individuals I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They operate their business with a complete lack of professionalism and basic decency.
First and foremost, they never provided me with an authorization form, which is required when towing someone's vehicle. That's an immediate red flag for anyone seeking their services. They not only break the rules, but they also don't care about your rights as a customer.
To make things worse, they have a policy that's beyond comprehension. They refuse to allow you to inspect your car or retrieve your personal belongings unless you pay them first. That's unacceptable and completely goes against any standard practice in this industry. It's like they're holding your belongings hostage for a ransom.
Another infuriating aspect is their payment methods. Metro Towing Company only accepts cash or debit card payments, which feels incredibly restrictive. This is yet another way they try to exploit your situation.
Perhaps the most concerning part of my experience was their complete disregard for any violations they commit. It's as if they believe they're above the law. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of collecting sufficient evidence if you ever find yourself needing to take them to court. Be prepared because they'll stop at nothing to avoid their responsibilities.
In fact, I'd like to extend an invitation to anyone who's had a similar nightmare with Metro Towing Company to join me in filing a class-action lawsuit against them. Together, we can hold them accountable for their unacceptable behavior.
If you're struggling with serving court forms or have any questions regarding legal action against them, please don't hesitate to contact me (You can message me on Yelp). Let's make sure this company is held responsible for their actions.
Stay away from Metro Towing Company. They don't deserve your business.

Read moreI had an extremely negative experience with this towing company that I feel compelled to share. I’ve encountered several issues, but the most alarming was the unprofessional and discriminatory behavior I experienced.
After my car was towed, I contacted the company and spoke with an employee who was threatening and evasive over the phone. When I arrived at the lot with police officers to document everything, the staff refused to release my vehicle, despite releasing cars to other customers that same day (January 5, 2025). The reason for this? The employee was unprofessional and argued with me, unable to respond to my direct questions.
What made the situation even worse was the behavior of their supervisor, who made discriminatory comments without realizing I was a local resident of LA. It became clear that this company feels they can act with impunity, possibly due to a lack of accountability in the past.
I am in the process of pursuing legal action for their refusal of service and discriminatory behavior. No one should be treated this way, and I will ensure this company faces appropriate consequences for their actions. I strongly advise anyone to be cautious when dealing with them. Also, even though I made a payment with Chase credit card, he did reverse card and pressured me to pay by cash because he didn’t like my signature. I paid $577 cash because didn’t have other option. Even police officers said “ a lot of people having issues specifically with his towing company”, also I will make sure to report to the IRS an FBI today about their activities to make sure...
Read moreUpdate: male office staffer made creepy comments to me in front of two male police officers whom I called because he would not let me see my vehicle before making payment and because he got aggressive with me despite me remaining calm. The police officers' response to the guy's creepy comments: it's private property, he can run his business how he wants to and that I should ignore him and be the bigger person. Good to know how little respect and protection women in this country get.
They tow 24/7 but they won't let a woman pick up her apartment key from her vehicle at 7pm, within minutes of the tow. My vehicle was towed from a plaza's half empty parking lot within minutes of me stepping away. The lot was still half empty when I returned. Called the towing company they said they'll be open for another hour. I asked the cost, when they told me I said ok. The guy sounded surprised I said ok because he knows the price is outrageous. Anyway I called them ten minutes after the initial call to say I'm on the way, the person who answered said they closed two hours prior. I guess he realized he could squeeze more money out of me by making the vehicle stay overnight. I explained my house key is in my ride can I at least pick up the key they said no. Any business who uses this company will get zero support from me in the future. That plaza will never see another dollar from me. If you want to work with evil that's on you, I won't...
