I love going to the callejones. You always find great deals on clothes (t-shirts, socks, calzones, etc) and other items and the fact that the clothes are cheap in price doesn't mean that they are cheaply made; remember that we have a big manufacturing district and also a textile district so that's where many of the clothes come from, also from China but let's be real what doesn't come from China nowadays? And I think that the quality has gotten better. It's conveniently located, not that far from the 10 and there's public transportation in case you don't want to deal with parking but if you have to I would recommend looking for a place to park between Los Angeles Street and Hill Street. There's places where you can park for 5-8 dlls right in the middle of everything but I don't like it because there's always so many people walking and the streets are kind of narrow so I rather walk for a little bit to avoid that headache and it's not that bad because there's soo much to see and in case you give in to the food they sell around there at least you'll be getting a bit of exercise...

Read moreso parking is ridiculous. BE SURE TO ASK QUESTIONS. Def look for flat rates, lot of spots say $3 but in small print it'll say for first 15min n you'll end up paying like $25-$50 depending how close u want to park n if it's a holiday or event happening. next..shop n look around. I understand "hustle" but some of these vendors are stupid overpriced..dnt jump the gun on ur purchases. also..be sure to check the items ur buying..98% of them are knockoffs, I refuse to pay full/retail price on an item I know is not original. be alert of food vendors..lot of are not clean, juss look at the street there selling on n is there area clean? if u got a good eye for cleanliness...
