Of course during this whole pandemic I tried canceling my account but was told I had to get in contact with my home gym. Sadly this location was my home gym and since no one was working obviously I wasnât able to get a response in time. I was trying to avoid getting charge and having to go in person. I am at high risk and did not feel comfortable going in person. WELL, they opened the day before I normally get charge and I called them that same day about canceling my membership and getting a refund since I was getting charged. One of the mangers told me I had to go in person or email but it would take them longer to cancel my membership or I can go in person for a faster process. As far as my refund I would need to email them. I informed her I have been trying to email them but no one will respond, she recommended to give them time. The next day I went in person to cancel and ask for a refund. My father was under my bank account as well and requested a refund for his membership as well. The manager was nice and informed me to continue emailing them because they were over loaded with refund request but they would get back to me eventually. They were only able to cancel my and fatherâs membership but not issue us our refund. She was really nice about the situation and even recommended me to email them two weeks later for a faster process for the refund. I contacted them multiple times however, today I finally decided to call and see what was the status or if I can get my refund processed. OF COURSE, now when I spoke to the manager I was told I couldnât receive a refund and it was there policy they were no longer giving refunds. She was trying to be nice and issue me a refund for my account but request for my fatherâs account as well since it was under my bank account. They manager told me itâs there policy NOT to issue refunds she was just doing me the favor to issue one refund. I tried to explain that I had spoken to a manger in person and I was told differently. I also asked to speak with a supervisor but she stated she was the only manager at this location. She basically did not care and brushed me off ending the call. Like MANY reviews here I can agree they donât care about you they only want your money. And donât care how shady they are getting it. Now I am going through this whole process of having to go through my bank and open a claim. Why ? Because there isnât a DAMN Corp number you can contact or anyone else if your home gym doesnât feel like helping you then youâre screwed. This whole situation has been and is frustrating because I am being charged for something I tried preventing however they make you go circles so they can just take your money.    Read moreI rarely write google reviews, but I decided to so that I can warn future customers about this company and their workers. First, their system is completely flawed! They will charge you multiple times for the membership fee. It will assign you to another club hundreds of miles away from the club even if you specifically chose your local club. I guarantee you it wasn't my mistake. I double-checked that I chose my local club before completing the membership sign-up form. I also went to my local club in person to make the account and had the representative check the address of the chosen club. Even then, the system assigned me to the same club that was all the way in Fresno. Furthermore, the system does not keep all the records of your membership, so if you ever get a billing issue, such as multiple charges, and seek help from the representatives they will tell you that they can't do anything because there is no record of the billing activity.
Second, the representatives in the clubs lack assistance and skill. They don't know how to resolve issues and will create mistakes that will put you through more inconveniences. To fix the problems they caused, they will merely tell you sorry and send you to member services. When I contacted member services, they were confused about why I was instructed to contact them. Member services do not have access to your billing account, but the clubs do. And so, I was instructed to contact my local club again. When I went back to the club to get the issue resolved, the representatives said they couldn't find anything and tried to send me back to member services AGAIN even though they know member services do not have access to accounts. I was being pushed around between the member services and the club.
In the end, I had to take this situation to my bank. I was charged three times, but luckily my bank resolved the issue in a few minutes. However, I am appalled by the lack of customer service and assistance Planet Fitness provides for its members. No one knows what to do and will throw you around like a fool. Why have representatives when they can't help resolve issues? They're only helpful with scanning your barcode.
I sincerely recommend future customers to look somewhere else other than Planet Fitness. Find a place that has competent employees and won't make you feel anxious about correct billing. Otherwise, you'll end up with problems that you didn't cause and you'll have to fix...

In the morning I use to come early and their was no people at all so the gym is all for you . But then the staff are not in a great mood in the morning idk why . They don't really great you . Anyways that's the reason why I left a lower rate. The reason was because I was feeling very motivated and pushing my self to it . So since it's a place where they don't judge you . They say they don't have a scale to weight your self because they don't judge you at all. Yet I bought my self a rope. And when I use to go to 24 hours fit ness and they were okay with me jumping the rope. Now I came here and I know it's very little . And I am aware that they care about safety. But come on I came to an empty area , and start doing my work out and they come to me looking all mad Telling me I can't jump my rope and an empty space . Like dude their is no people in the morning . If you feel you might need more space . Or need a pool or more weight lifting machines . Pay a bit for another gym . This gym it's alright for the price. If I wasn't paying for what am paying now . I would have gone a long time a go . But you pay for what you use . Therefor the rating isn't so poor . Hope this review helps
I love this place . Very clean . Some staff are nice some are bit rude . But am not those type of people who care about service at Gym . Like really? Yeah you need to feel good and feel welcome. But to a gym you go to push your self . I been two 3 different gyms and this one so far I feel the best . No commitment , very affordable , and 24 hrs . If people complain then go pay more for a luxury place. I think you can't go wrong with this at all. Yeah some people might not clean. But I been to places where people give zero f*s and equipment is tore and very dirty . At Least here people don't stare at you because you can't pick up heavy weights or can't run fast .
