It's a lovely stretch of wood planked walkways lining a handful of restaurants and shops. There are sweet little spots to sit and gather around an alcohol fire. Unfortuneately, the height of the development's buildings, combined with a complete lack of any wind block makes sitting in those designated chill or dine areas miserably windy & cold. Also, nighttime is a poor choice for atmosphere becuase they have one of those giant led billboards that is constantly affronting u with blaring commercials. It throws a spasmatic mishmosh of hi-intensity light over everything. Horrible lack of cohesion to concept when the developers were clearly trying to create a romantic, charming environement with all the wood and gently swooping cafe lights... only to be accosted and drowed out by the 10x15ish, bigscreen billboard. Gross. EDIT. May 2025 The billboard is just as insanely bright and oversized for that walkway/eating area. I guess Runway is just that broke on money, or maybe they got locked into a 3yr contract with the company soliciting LED billboards? I also have a stretch of a belief that maybe the Runway Developers are under some partnership with the RealEstate agents who mostly fill the Billboard, as well other advertisement kiosks there. Either its the money they are getting from it, or the glut of unrented/unsold units, but something is making them torture their restaurant patrons like that, let alone the groups trying to hang by the fire. Whatever the reason, for a place attempting to be beachy casual high-end, the billboard screams...
Read moreI have lived in Runway complex for 2 months & have had issues that have yet to be resolved since move in. Absolute irresponsibility of management from communication to no follow through (not including Gemini as she has been great, however these issues have not been through her).
*Washing machine is moldy & makes my clothes smell like mold, so I have to take them elsewhere to get washed. I have created multiple work orders w/maintenance & have reached out to management about the issue. I was told that the machine is under warranty so they “ordered" a part over a month ago which has yet to arrive…& they will not switch it out for a new one due to the warranty.
**I have had the same issue with my dishwasher
*I paid for the complex’s renters insurance before mine took effect (pro-rated to 1/2 month). Since then I have been charged three full months of their renters insurance, after multiple emails to refund and cancel. I received multiple emails from the same manager that it was refunded & cancelled yet it never was.
*Communication is beyond unorganized w/out any real answers or resolutions. I will send an email, & receive 3 emails back from different management saying someone else resolved the issue (which they hadn’t), or multiple threads from the same manager on the same subject.
For the cost of this apartment, I should never be dealing with these...
Read moreDisturbing Pleasentville vibes for people with enough money to avoid actual society, but not enough money to live somewhere else. I hate it here but it's the closest movie theater.
Parking is kinda scammy but you can park for free of you validate your ticket anywhere, cvs, movie theater. I say it's scammy because even if you validate, the machine still displays the price when you leave and this confuses most peolple to insert their cards, thinking the validation didn't work. It worked! It just shows the full price on the screen. Wait a moment and the arm will go up. If you insert your card before it goes up, the only way to gwt your card back is to pull thru, stop, allow the arm to close, get out of your card, walk back to the machine. If your card is ejecting and it bumps your finger, it will suck back in and you'll need to really work to g3t it out. In other words. Avoid this place if at all possible I hate myself everytime I go here but it's a close CVS and a close movie theater......
