777 Motor Inn — Hotel in Los Angeles

I arrived there at 2 am this morning and was given a room on the 1st floor. After unpacking all of my things, I saw a bedbug on the bed. I smashed it with my wallet, grabbed my key card and went to the office. I asked the guy to come with me to see it for himself but it had escaped. He asked if I wanted another room, so I said yes. He had only one room on the second floor, up steep stairs, no elevator. So I quickly repacked and he was kind enough to carry my bags up for me. I began to inspect the room and quickly saw a large mirror on the wall that had graffiti etched into the glass as well as some that had been painted on. I pointed this out to him and told him that I would be taking pictures of it. He told me that I could speak to the manager in the morning after 9 am. Meanwhile, I began to look at everything. When I opened the drawer of a nightstand I again saw graffiti spray painted on. I took pictures of this as well. I was disgusted. This is in a very nice area, Sherman Oaks, but it is a dump. In the morning I asked for a later check-out time which I was given. Then after dressing, I went down to speak directly to Dee who was the acting manager. I told her about my problems. She told me that they could not resolve these issue because the owner would not pony up for a new mirror. Apparently he won't pay to spray paint the drawer that has graffiti, either! I could not wait to get out of there, and am concerned about the possibility that I have brought bedbugs home in my bag or clothing. ||DO NOT STAY IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE for any reason! Not worth $50, much less the $115 that I was charged. ...

Booked 2 rooms for 2 weeks for 5 out of town family members, this after visiting several of the motels on Sepulveda in Van Nuys, CA. Seemed like a decent place, right price, but it's no Hilton....you shouldn't have to beg for towels from cleaning staff that pretend they don't speak English (ok, so maybe they don't). The family only had two bath towels for each room & staff said they had to wait until Tuesday to get more. REALLY? Also, be sure to bring ear plugs. Family said there must have been 10 people in room next door to them, and another couple upstairs put their heaviest boots on so they could scream at each other & clomp around in the wee hours of the morning. ||We booked rooms 108 & 109 on first floor; you can't help it if inconsiderate elephants book rooms on top of you.....and squirrel away your towels because getting them replaced takes some doing. Also, parking is ridiculous - as in NONE! Also family reports some items missing......maybe they just "misplaced" them? Yeah, right!||Just talked to family, they had to go out & BUY some sheets & blankets. Staff would not give them a blanket and the sheets had some kind of bugs on them (not bedbugs, maybe silverfish, probably roaches?) ||Also they said someone came in & used their toilet, left seat up. On the 06/30/2018 I booked 2 rooms for only one night I paid $240 for my family who visiting me from outside the US. It was the worse experience ever first the women who work on front desk she is very rude she asked me to provide everyone ID even for the kids which I never been asked from any other hotels kids ID . The rooms are very dirty the towels the pillows the floor the sofas every thing it’s really disgusting I had to use our shirts to cover the pillows so we can put our faces. The toilet only has toilet paper they don’t provide anything else beside the toilet paper. Early in the morning the worker was using generators for cleaning at 9 am the noise very loud which wakes the kids and I . My dad had to go to the reciption to complain about the noises and the dirty room and everything but the lady end up saying aw I wish you call us before you book so I will tell you that we don’t provide anything for the room like napkin or anything beside the toilet paper and also I would tell u to go the other hotel next door better than here or so also my dad asked her for a paper so he can write a complain she said we don’t have papers she is a lier because when I go by my self she did give me and I drop it on the box . The over all hotel is not qualify for families or even couples this hotel must be...
