The Complex Theatres and Studios — Attraction in Los Angeles

Oh my goodness!!! Can I just say I watched the play Shattered Glass at the Dorie theater. It was sooo awesome!!! The play was great!! The experience of an intimate play setting was great!!! On top that my first time there. They had it like a movie theater but, for plays. I tell you all something. I need to find time to go back to Santa Monica to look at some plays. Please give a "LIKE" to the review. The Complex is well named. It has a number of locations within the building. Included are: acting classes; theatre performance spaces; rooms available to become either a small makeshift theatre or a perfect small area for a read-thru of a script.

The various theater spaces at The Complex are pretty much exactly what you expect from an independent and alternative theater. The rooms are small and intimate, the stages are adequate for small shows, and the rental prices are very reasonable if you need audition, rehearsal, or meeting space, or even if you want to four-wall a show.

Parking will be a minor annoyance both for your cast and crew and for audience as there does not appear to be a good answer beyond the usual hunt for curbside spaces (many of which are metered) within a...
