I think I’m just speechless at this point. I was just delivered these items to my home this morning. Items were expected a week ago. I was told delay was due to rain and to the fact they could not find our address. If rain was the excuse today is also a rainy day and it’s pouring. I asked why they did not contact us if they could not find the address if they had our number. I called the store for assistance and was told that they have complaints with all of their delivery companies and that there was not much they could do. That they could send someone out to move it manually but not while it was raining. I asked why the items were delivered during the rain but could not be moved. I was told they could not send out any employees out. My mother is currently at home unable to leave or anyone able to come in. In the even on an emergency she is stuck at home with now way to get out. She is a 65 year old woman unable to move these items. I find it truly unethical that my mother asked the gentleman to move the items and he said yes, let me unload and I can move them once I’m done. He asked her to sign and processed to move thing. Once he was done he just took off. We have been using Home Depot for years not only for home repairs for everyday items and have your credit card. I’m very disappointed that this is how items are delivered with no regard for safety or respect. Not only were items delivered late they left them in the middle of the our driveway with no regard for and safety or respect for my family. We are unable to leave or enter our home. We are unable to lock our gates. I really don’t understand how items were delivered today when it’s pouring and we are expected to move items that you the vendor were contracted to deliver. In understand curve side delivery but this right here is ridiculous when there is no one home to assist an elderly woman.

Spend over 40 minutes on isle 40 trying to get any body to help on the bathroom faucet section, I ask in the front cashiers, and customer service so they call someone who never got there, then I ask two other employees for assistance both of them say they didn’t work on that section,.finally I got a girl supervisor who was not even NOT apologizing for not having any body helping us, on the contrary she was just cold like tell me just what you are looking for and that’s it, on my way back o found two chatting employees having a conversation away from customers of course and they asked me if I had found everything I was looking for, so my little boy who was with me all this time on the waiting time, we just look at each other like “you kidding right!!! I say no, nor only we did not found what we were looking for, we also didn’t found no one willing to help on any aspect, so they ask and say !ho we’re sorry ,what section? I told them and as I was on my way out of the store they call someone to go to the isle I was waiting for. Any ways if you need to buy something and you need assistance then this Home Depot store is just not for you,and no I would never recommend it to anyone , you will be better taking your business somewhere else and not waste your time here, is just not worth it.

The Home Depot is one of the original category killers, a store devoted solely to furnishing tools and supplies for the building trade. The selection is massive although it could use some heavy editing. Many of the supplies are offered in huge quantities which is a waste of time and money if you only need a couple of bolts. The staff is generally unhelpful, overworked, and under trained. Check-out is now done almost entirely through self-check out. This kind of works but it’s also frustrating when something is not listed or the price is not clearly visible. All in all it will be a more pleasant experience if you have a good local hardware store. For hard to find items, Home Depot is your last resort.

The worst service !!!!! Went in to simply ask if they can build the window frame because my mom had called and spoke to someone named Jorge . Jorge said he can do it come and ask for him and have the dimensions ready and he would be able to do it. So I went in straight to the window aisle I picked up the supplies and walked to someone near by to see if they can help me. Didn't get his name but I asked if he knew where I can go get the window frame built. He said oh that's gonna take all day but you can go back to aisle and ask someone there. I said I don't mind how long it takes just want to know where I can locate the person in charge of building the frame. I went back to the aisle saw two guys and I asked the same question they giggled and said they don't do that here I said well we spoke to Jorge and he said he can do it. They asked for a last name but we didn't have it I assumed they knew a Jorge in that dept. those two guys called some short guy named Oscar. Again I asked the same question and still not a polite or straight forward answer first he said they don't do it there and again told him we spoke to a guy named Jorge. Then he switched his story and said he could do it it would just take too long and has a lot of things to do and he's gonna do what his boss tells him first that he goes in from 6-2 and he won't do it that day but maybe for tomorrow. Again I don't mind waiting !!! . I said I don't mind the wait and asked how much it would it be ...he then said it's doing us a favor. I'm still unsure what doing us a favor meant ?? I went in ready to pay for that not to ask for a favor I I'm asking for service! He added that we can go online and schedule an appointment for it and it could take weeks. How am I supposed to go forward with that after feeling so disrespected by not one but 4 guys!! Is it because I'm a girl thinks I wouldn't know! If I had the tools for it I would've done it I know it doesn't take hours! I put my supplies back and said never mind he then asked so you don't want us to do it i said no. Like come on!! In what mind did he make me feel welcomed there? (I called a local store on cypress ave was able to get the nicest answer and price )....I went to the front registers to speak to a manager about what happened I believe her name was Christine. She said she apologized she would talk to them and unfortunately they don't offer that service I said thank you that answer was all I needed can't believe it took the 5th person to give an honest and polite answer. I still don't understand how they don't offer the service but according to oscar we can make an appointment online.... anyway never going to this store I'd rather drive to the nearest Lowes or any hardware store near by . I don't mind paying extra as long as I get what I am...

Counterfeit items sold here. Not enough security to address the issue they have. Unfortunately I don't see this store staying open given the state laws for theft and what is a huge problem here. Maybe the daytime is a little different once all the local parking lot vendors come out, but nigjttime this is where you go if you want your car to be stolen.

Bought what was supposedly a new light switch. Opened it to find a disgustingly dirty old and used switch that wasn't even the same brand or look. I've never been to this store aside from today and likely will not return after this exchange. The store was full of zombies and outside in the parking lot a bicycle chop shop. Waste of time coming. Open everything before you leave the parking lot. Sealed boxes mean nothing. I returned to make my exchange and was helped by nobody even though I stood in line.

I eventually went to check for myself and find a package that was the right item inside and not missing pieces. Upon doing so I was called a looter, and even with my receipt and pointing out that clearly all these were tampered with, even with some already open, told I should buy them all because I opened them, and that now they will lose money because of that. Nevermind the people actively shoplifting on the next aisle, but they will harass someone who paid for their product. They were going to lose money on counterfeit merchandise anyways.

If you don't want people to have self service then maybe assist them when they are waiting for assistance.

Not going back here despite the friendly staff. I wasted an hour on what should have been 20 mins, leaving angry and harassed.

The store was more upset that I opened he no. A certain way and that they.woukdnt be able to sell defective...
