Let's just get something off my chest. I have been collecting pokemon since 99' although I strongly believe the cards came out earlier than that. When I do the math it doesn't add up. I am only 33 but could've sworn my first few packs were back when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. Anyways, pokemon will always be outlet and my escape from reality.
Honestly, Mason with Card N All Gaming, their prices are priced so aggressive that I went out of my way to shop with them through their online site. Although I would much prefer to shop in person, I can't because I am located in Minnesota. I actually plan on showing up in person and making my experience into a full vacation lol.
I have tried to find Pokemon Products all year, close to their MSRP prices. Mason with CNAG delivered. I totally understand the mark up LGS have because they also need to thrive. Business 101 everybody. Seriously do no hesitate on making any purchase. I plan to only buy pokemon products from Mason now. My local LGS here in MN cannot complete with CNAG.
My online shopping experience was awesome and plan on making more soon. The online site was easy and simple to navigate not complicated like other sites. You can find what your looking for with ease. I am also happy that my special request was met. After I placed my order I forgot to make a note for Mason to sign one of the ETB's I ordered. I had to contact and send the store a generic message through their site asking about my request. When my order arrived, I was blown away. It means a lot to me to have Mason sign an ETB. I can't wait to get a case for it and keep it sealed. The order arrived fairly quick with no complaints.
Through the pandemic I suffered from depression and tried to commit suicide. I got myself help and support from my wife and family. What also got me through my struggle was Mason with Card N All Gaming. I watch and support his channel through YouTube. I have a serious collection of cards and part of my heart sank about the current pokemon releases, battling scalpers and flippers just to open and collect cards I love and enjoy. I would mainly watch his videos about the market and fluctuations. From a collecting stand point, I am holding my line. My goal is long term, 10 years plus on my sealed.
Mason you have impacted me in a great way, more than you know. I am just glad that the light at the end of the tunnel is nearing. Pokemon and all TCGS will normalize. Thanks again sir and I'll let you know in the future when I plan on stopping by in person. If there are any cards you are specifically looking for, I am sure we can make a deal.
Anyways, for all who read my review, do not hesitate when it comes to this LGS. Their inventory is diverse and there's something here...
Read moreI've been here quite a few times, ever since they first popped up in the area, so I've seen them go through a lot of changes. I miss their old store layout, I felt like they had a pretty decent inventory and the space was nice and open. Now, it feels a little cold to me.
I will say that in the past, before they changed the store, sometimes an employee would welcome me in and ask me if I needed help with anything. Nowadays, I'm not even acknowledged. They don't even look up when I enter the store. Not sure what that's about but It's just a little weird to me and makes me feel unwelcome.
Anyway, in my opinion, they sell more board games, card games, and figures than they do video games and there doesn't seem to be much variety. Prices on items seem to be a little on the high-end. I saw a video game that I was interested in but when I picked it up, I noticed that the case and cover art was all messed up. It was priced at $20 but I felt like that price was far too high for something in that poor of condition. I could have purchased that same game off eBay or even GameStop in mint condition for a lot cheaper. I definitely think that the condition of the item should reflect that in the price.
If you're ever considering trading in a game or selling it to them, I would not recommend it. Based on my own personal experience, it was terrible. When I was trying to sell them some of my games, one of the employees came off rude and grossly low-balled the value of my collection. I saw my games selling for at least $10 each on eBay, only for them to tell me that their all worth $3? That's ridiculous. I wasn't even trying to ask for that much. So, it's safe to say that I didn't accept their offer.
That was the final nail in the coffin for me which is quite unfortunate because I really used to like coming here and looking around but with the questionable customer service, lack of games, and anxiety inducing atmosphere, I'm not sure if I'll ever feel comfortable going back again...

I have never been happier after a retail experience. If you grew up in the 90s this is everything you loved wrapped into one. Better yet, they have a deep inventory and prices are more than fair. I even heard employees comparing to other retailers like GameStop and ensuring they listed the price lower.
I'm not sure what was the best highlight for me: friendly and welcoming staff, digging through hundreds of Pokemon with all the memories to follow, or finding a Gameboy color matching the one I had as a kid and Pokemon red for prices I could afford. They event have a 30 day warranty included in the price.
What put this place on top of everywhere else I have been in the Louisville area was the staff and the fact they were willing to trade cards to offset the cost of the cards I had found and wanted. Extremely fair and patient from start to finish. More importantly, at no point was the staff dismissive like other places and it just felt like you could be yourself and just enjoy. Seemed like good people including the manager and seeing them interact with all different customers they just seemed like great people. A safe and welcoming environment for everyone for sure.
I can't wait to return with my family to show them everything on offer. Admittedly, we may be back as soon as next week.
I plan to be a long time customer, and will ensure everyone knows...
