After moving to Elizabethtown and back again. The food here is still better than anything they had there. The crab rangoon is still the best I've ever had, with plenty of crab flavor. The prices are hard to beat. One thing, the chicken fried rice did have a little too much oil flavor..like old oil.(unless its a spice im not placing).not a fan. Egg Foo young was delicious and chicken on a stick.

I live right down the street from this place. I take my children there all the time. The food is delicious, and always fresh! They cook to order, its not something thats been sitting around back there forever. There is no buffet, so i have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. I've been coming to China Castle since I was a kid. Maybe 15-20 years? It's always been so amazing. I brag on this restaurant to everyone I know. I'm only giving 2 stars tonight out of respect, because I've loved this place so much, for so long. Tonight we waited for over 30 mins for our food when there was only 1 other person in line. When we got home, the chicken, although it was drenched in sauce, was almost hard as a rock. Burnt without a doubt. Not even the sauce softened the hard rough edges. The crab Rangoon was cold and bland. And honestly they really skimped on the portions compared to normal. Not like we would've eaten it anyhow. I really hope if new management or something has taken over, that they will really step up their game because this is definitely not like my favorite childhood Chinese...

The food used to be pretty good. Not the best bet good enough. Here lately in 2019 the food has been less than subpar. They seem to be serving old rice (you can tell because it’s extra greasy and the grains feel old). General Tso chicken only comes with 3 pieces of barely steamed broccoli. When I asked them about it and referred to the photo of the dish in the restaurant. The worker told me that it’s just a picture. How absurd!!!
