The beers were good, and the space was nice. I wish there were a list of the whiskeys with pricing to mull over, and more canned beers to take away. We have a bottle share group and we're always looking for something new to take but a growler wouldn't survive. When we walked in the vibe was cool and the music was set to a nice nostalgic 90's station. If we were local I'm sure it would be part of our regular visitation, but we only had two nights and decided not to return. Unfortunately the significant other of one of the bartenders arrived, already showing signs of impairment. He was also ill and began coughing all over the bar. When left alone he helped himself to the tablet behind the bar and turned the music to a strange techno thing. He had multiple drinks and shots of whiskey that he really didn't need to consume and most likely if he were a patron would have long been cut off already. Not sure if he even had an open tab but while there a young lady returned to complain that she had been charged for extra things that she didn't order or receive. The bartender did make it right but the charges were enough to give the woman a free filled growler and it made us wonder if the sick boyfriend put some of his charges on a different tab while he had the tablet. We made sure to double check before closing that our charges were appropriate. The other bartender looked annoyed like this is a somewhat regular visitation, which is why we went elsewhere...
Read moreBeer was good , not my jams but found a few I liked . Guy behind the bar was cool, but forgot to catch his name. Overall vive was chill and low key....... Let's talk about the men's room though..... I could smell it before I got to it. That little half kegburinalnisncute, but it's disgusting. The overwhelming smell of uric acid was overwhelming from the hallway. The smell inside the men's room was absolutely appalling . It was literally eye watering and your half keg urinal is to blame . In case you are wondering why , cutting a keg in half dies not make a proper urinal. The inside has buildup of uric acid , and by inside I mean the part connected to the drain where you cannot clean. At a minimum, you need to using an enzymatic cleaner to break down the uric crystals..... You are better served putting a real toilet. Literally, no desire to return because of this . Case point: I have working on lavatory systems on commercial aircraft for over ten yrs . They smell the same way. If youbare willing to ignore a foul bathroom, what else are you...
Read moreA relaxing brewing in a cute walkable area of Louisville (I was only visiting so I'm not familiar with the name of that particular area of town). They have a small seating area out front but plenty more seating inside. I do wish there was more outdoor seating however due to the size of the outdoor space I'm not sure that would be possible.
They had a nice variety of creative beers! I wish they sold 6 packs of their beer though. They did have single (tall) cans for sale. This was a cool feature since the one I got was from a different brewery. I'm hot sure if all the to go cans were from other breweries or not. They were expensive for single to go beers but as something nice to bring back from my trip I was willing to pay the price.
I also wish that there was a larger parking lot however I got lucky and got the last available spot right out front. Overall, one of my favorite breweries in Louisville and I'll definitely be back next time...
