When I heard about Paradise Biryani Pointe's good reputation and read positive reviews, I was excited to try their food. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular branch was really bad.
I ordered biryani and appetizers, and was told that the biryani would take 5 minutes to prepare, while the appetizers would take 15 minutes. However, the appetizers arrived after a 30-minute delay, and the biryani came even later, after 45 minutes. Despite being given multiple assurances that my order was almost ready, these turned out to be false.
I was also disappointed by the ambiance of the restaurant. The music being played on TV was really irritating, and as an Indian myself, I did not appreciate the music choice.
However, the worst part of my experience was the biryani itself. The rice was overcooked, soggy/watery making it unappetizing and disappointing. As a result, I will not be returning to this branch of Paradise Biryani Pointe, as it did not meet my expectations, which had been set by the standards of other branches.
To make matters worse, the restaurant only provided two plates for our group of four people, which added to the overall poor experience. I had to request additional plates and wait an additional 10 minutes for them to arrive, which only made things worse.
It's worth noting that I am a food enthusiast and have tried many Indian restaurants in the past. When I heard about the reputation of Paradise Biryani Pointe, I was eager to give them a try, hoping to add another great restaurant to my list. However, my experience at this branch was disappointing, especially given the high standards I had come to expect from other branches of the chain. Despite this negative experience, I remain hopeful that the other branches of Paradise Biryani Pointe will live up to...
Read moreI usually don't give any bad rating to anyone but this concerns health so i am writing this review.
I ordered catering from Paradise Biryani, Lowell for my sister's baby shower for almost 50 people. It included 2 large tray of Veg Biryani and total food worth of $600. Since the funtion is at Noon time and this restaurant was not in position to provide food early in day time, i picked food a night prior to the function at around 9 PM as planned. I was told not to open the trays untill you will be having food. Also once you take all the food keep it in fridge at specific temperature and have next day afternoont. I was told the veg biryani is freshly made an hour back and in good condition.
Even after doing everything as told the veg biryani went sour and stale very next day irrespective of keeping it in fridge and not opening before lunch time (around 1 PM) on day of function. It was very embarassing during function when people didn't have anything to eat in vegetarian option as planned.
I talked to 2 of my freinds working as chef in restaurants and they told me veg biryani do not get bad for atleast 12 hours until material used is not of good quality or old vegetables or have some fungus in it.
I will never order or suggest anyone to book any catering from this restaurant. This restaurant do not use best practices to make biryani and use stale material which is unhealthy.
Think twice before you order food from this place because you never know when...
Read moreGoogle please don’t take this down and other diners please don’t report it because of difference in opinion (freedom of speech, remember) !! Hitting a spot on your tastebuds very differently compared to the run-of-the mill, trying-hard-to-please-a-narrow-American-palate, mediocre self-proclaimed pseudo-Indian restaurants which seem to a norm in the area (I am from out of state), where majority of the dishes all look and taste the same, this place, surprisingly in accordance with the age-old rule of thumb of spotting an authentic ethnic cuisine place, is run by individuals and patronised by diners (on a regular basis) belonging to the same region of India whose cuisine this restaurant carries. Though I know from my travels, that cultures and tastes change every few miles, but this is I feel the closest that it can come to what I had during my stay in Hyderabad. I just wish they made their secret menu part of their official menu and had more South Indian appetizers compared to what they have now. Their food puts one in such a mental bliss, that on a lighter note, I wish they had a hotel or motel or Airbnb attached and provided accommodation for a little seista. Wishing them all...
