LaBelle Nail Bar — Attraction in Lower Merion Township

I had a wonderful experience. I scheduled a manicure and a pedicure. at other salons, the technician always seems to lose energy by the time they get to the manicure. Not in this case. The setting is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. My technician was amazing. She actually provided advice regarding my nails which are natural and I have been trying to get them to continue to grow and not break since I have been using gel nail polish and other salons always seem to scrape off part of the nail with the polish. unfortunately I did not get her name but she specifically looked over all of my nails and pointed out where they might break and suggested that I get them clipped every time because the sides were weak. She also gave me the option to try another color and painted one nail with that color to help me to decide. I also like that she did not push getting gel polish and I really like the dazzle dry which dries in five minutes. But you can use regular nail polish remover.

I also had my eyebrows tinted as a last minute request and the salon accommodated very easily. I have been aware of the salon since 2017 and after talking with the person at the front desk at that time I knew I wanted to try their services. I have been to so many salons and even though everyone says the technicians are fully trained, I have found that not to be the case. At this salon I was able to have someone who was experienced, knowledgeable, and who seemed genuinely interested in the well-being of my nails. I am very very very picky. :-) And this is definitely a salon that is at the top...

I’ve been getting regular manicures and pedicures here for a few years now and at this point I won’t go anywhere else. I’d rather walk around with grown out nails and wait for an appointment than go to another salon.

The salon has a clean, quiet atmosphere that is actually relaxing (I usually find nail salons stressful and tense). They always offer water or tea, and look for ways to make me comfortable when I come in. The receptionist is always kind, and very responsive to texts. The salon has nice massage chairs for the pedicure stations, and the stations themselves are kept super clean.

I always see the same manicurist (Vicky) and she has also done my brows and lash tints as well. I get gel manicures from her, and they last way longer than any other gel manicures I’ve ever gotten. I also want to note that a few times I regretted my color choice after Vicky had started with the gel, and I felt completely comfortable asking if we could switch to another color. She made me feel comfortable enough to voice that, and then couldn’t have been nicer about it when I did ask. They’re a busy salon with a tight schedule, so this speaks volumes about the customer service they’re providing.

They have a good color selection—lots of different brands, with everything on swatches so you can test out the colors against your skin tone.

The salon is definitely pricier than others, but it’s worth it for the high quality manicures and pedicures, extreme cleanliness, and overall comfortable yet...

My friend and I had an exceptional experience at LaBelle. This is appointment only and you want to call a few days ahead of time for a weekend booking. The owner was super accommodating in getting me an appointment for two and called me when a time opened up. Parking in Ardmore is mostly metered street parking, so give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the place.

The salon has a modern, bright, and clean decor, with professional and friendly technicians. Upon arrival you’re offered water, tea, wine, or mimosas. I picked out a color but my nail tech wanted to make sure I loved it and had me try it out, then helped me pick a color when I decided I didn’t love it.

The luxury manicure is worth it: skin treatments followed by a nice, long hand and arm massage. When I went to the drying station I completely smudged 4 of my nails sipping my tea and being a clutz and she happily fixed it for me right away. While paying, the owner helped take my card out of my wallet so I wouldn’t smudge my nails again 😂.

You will pay more here but you will also get more. The majority of the time I get my nails done and go to a random place, someone is rude or cuts my cuticles too short or doesn’t paint them right, or I have to wait forever, and I leave disappointed. If you only get your nails done once in a while, it’s definitely worth it to have a wonderful experience, and go to LaBelle. I need to come back for a pedicure bc their stations look so...
