I was recently married at the Moon of SV. I am not normally one to write negative reviews, but the experience leading up to the wedding was terrible. The venue owner (who also coordinates the events) was so bad with communication. They were overseas when we came to the venue for a meeting (which they arranged)-3 months before the wedding. Only to tell us they would not return until 1.5 months from the wedding date. From that point everything was just an issue. I had to be very demanding to have an in person meeting. I was dismissed and told I needed "to relax, we do this all the time." Thankfully I was persistent because they had no concept of what dairy is or what a vegan diet requires. Things were the worst 1-2 weeks before the wedding. I had sent a very detailed message with all of our preferences as I was asked to. All of that, only to be messaged the week of my wedding about many BASIC things that had been discussed multiple times. Such as the number of guests, the time of the ceremony, and again the food (I was offered chicken alfredo when they were already aware I needed a vegan dish--which we planned at the meeting). Also, I was told I had to pay $300 for the chair sashes and napkins, even though my contract stated that linen and napkins were included (every time we spoke, I was asked to send them my contract—they never had the information available). I was also asked to bring this amount in cash to the venue. I also received multiple texts requesting I bring cash to tip the staff, which I should give to the venue owners, not the staff itself. On the day of, they put out an entire dessert table with cakes of unknown origin. Meanwhile the cutting cakes and Vegan cake I brought were nowhere to be seen. I had to ask multiple staff to have our cakes brought out. Lastly, the venue itself was in need of updating and cleaning. Many of the table cloths had oil stains and the chair covers had holes in it. Luckily I had a wonderful day, but that was despite the venue--not because of it. I will say that the waitstaff was wonderful and...
Read moreI recently dined at Moon of Saucon Valley, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
The menu features a delightful variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The seafood pasta was a standout—fresh, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The farm-to-table approach really shines through in every bite, showcasing local ingredients.
Service was exceptional; our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations without being intrusive.
To finish off our meal, we indulged in their house-made desserts, which were the perfect sweet touch to an already fantastic evening.
Moon of Saucon Valley is a must-visit! I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu....
