1st timer at Turdo, upon arriving, plan on parking on road across the street, or just past winery, there is parking near soccer field. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and plenty of outdoor seating. The wines are very good, primarily dry wines, both red and white. Small refrigerator filled with snacks for your visit. Tasting room is very small, upon arriving, they said it could be a 20 minute wait. Grabbing a bottle, or a glass of wine and sitting outside elimates the wait. 4 out of 5. If larger tasting room existed, I would give it a 5. Very friendly staff and very good wine!

The view was very nice. You can only do flights inside, which I didn’t like. The wine wasn’t horribly priced but I also didn’t love it. To be fair, I am not a huge wine fan. They didn’t have anything on the website that said no outside food but they had signs posted everywhere onsite. The food was outrageously priced, which I was not a fan of. The patio was very pretty and you can see the grape vines. They also had fans on the patio which made it easier to enjoy sitting outside. It was weird that you walk up to basically someone’s house. It was an okay experience.

What a pleasant surprise. Tucked in just off of Bayshore Rd and just a few minutes form Cape May. It’s very small compared to some of the areas other wineries. But what they may lack in size they make up with very good wine. There are a handful of tables outside with some cheeses and other snacks you can purchase to enjoy while you are there. Well worth the visit for folks who appreciate wine.

I was really excited to host my best friends bachelorette event here. And I’d like to start by saying this is the first time I’ve ever left a bad review for a business! The owner was great at communicating when he wanted me to book the event and send the money. However once everything was booked the communication was very poor sometimes taking him weeks to respond to me. A half hour before our scheduled event I received a text from him stating he is sick and we wouldn’t be able to have our tasting but we can still show up and everything would be taken care of. I thought it was unprofessional to be notified while I’m driving to the winery but I decided to just make the best of it. He promised to give me a partial refund for the inconvenience. Upon arrival the staff was rude and unfriendly they obviously were not informed we would be arriving and asked if we would still like to do a tasting, we said yes. They finally allowed us to pick out wine and snacks and told us they had no time to make a platter or party tray for us like we were promised. We were handed snacks and cheeses still in the packaging and a tray. We had to go back several times to ask for a knife. No one came outside to speak to us about the wines therefore we had no tasting. This was disappointing as it was the brides first time at a winery. All in all we made the best of it and I texted the owner after thanking him even though we did not receive the service we paid for. We didn’t even have the “private area” that was supposed to be reserved for us. There were people who were seated right next to us. After a month of reaching out to inquire about my refund I am doubtful that will ever happen. As a former employee in the service industry I have never dealt with a more unprofessional owner and staff. I am disgusted and would not recommend ever paying for a...

Visited on Sept 19th -- Of the vast selection of wineries in Cape May, this winery is by far the worst. We called regarding a wine tasting and specified the time we would be arriving. When we arrived, the tastings were over and it took the host about 20 mins to even acknowledge our presence at the entrance. This is a family owned vineyard and their wines are good. However, it seems to me as if they decided to open a winery on their small patio on the side of their home to make some extra cash. This is completely fine if they would also orient themselves on customer service. Once we were seated, we selected our wine and all of their food is pre-packaged as if purchased from Costco. There are no charcuterie boards, etc. if thats what you're looking for. After our first round of drinks, it took the waitress precisely 35 mins to check on us so we could order our second round! We had to get her attention and to top it off, she had quite an attitude. When addressed, she immediately changed her approach and said it was so busy.

I will not return or ever recommend this place.

If you want to spend quality time at a winery, I would recommend Cape May Winery and Willow Creek Winery. Quality wine, food and environment. These two wineries also take reservations so you're not waiting at the entrance.

Dont waste...

I had the absolute worst experience and it’s a shame because it was a beautiful day and one of the red wines we did enjoy. They only had two white options which was a little disappointing. The moment we walked in the hostess who wound up being our waitress was awfully rude the entire time. She was just plain nasty and it seemed to only be with your group. We ordered some food and she literally threw it on the table. I was nothing but nice from the minute I walked in knowing that with COVID times have changed and we couldn’t all sit together so it wanst that we were being rude. I should have known not to go since I also called a few days earlier to see if we can get the private section since we had a group of 11 and never received a call back. Meanwhile another winery that I reached out to got back to me right away and even sent recommendations. I would definitely not return or recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re going for a special occasion which is what we...
