My first time here, I approached the counter located in the middle and asked the young lady for a bagel with cream cheese. She redirected me to the kiosks and explained I have to place the order at that kiosk. I placed the order at the kiosk but was redirected back to the center to pay at the counter with credit card. Very confusing and not quite sure why I can’t speak with a person to place an order or just pay with credit at kiosk. Why waiting for my bagel I noticed customers can just open the display drawer at the bagel counter and pick their own bagels to go. Now everyone is touching my bagel which is nasty not just the workers wearing gloves, I never seen a practice like this unless you pick your own bread from the supermarket. The bagel was good and the price is fine. The place is clean and clutter free. The whole ordering system needs to fixed and please do not let the general public near those bagels.

The place is very clean with a vibrant, hip, and modern atmosphere. The staff and owner (who we chatted with) are very friendly and the service was excellent. Most importantly, the bagels are fantastic! We had a bagel and egg sandwich, bagel and lox sandwich, and a bagel (fresh out of the oven) with homemade cream cheeses. We also bought a dozen to take home with us. Everything was delicious! But what really sets this place above all others is the quality of the ingredients. Many of the veggies and herbs used in the bagels come straight from the owners' organic garden, and everything else is sourced as locally as possible. Organic tomatoes fresh from the garden, organic pumpkins in the pumpkin bagels from the garden, organic veggies and herbs in the cream cheese from the garden - you can really taste the freshness of everything! You can't beat this place for quality of the food.

Probably the best bagel sandwich I ever had. The store is clean with an open kitchen, staff was friendly and the coffee was on point. The cold brew looks legit as well. There was an earlier comment about price; and while not cheap by any means - you are getting quality AND egg prices ( you get 2 eggs!) are high currently. Spend A few extra bucks to support a newer business, a family and help raise the bar on quality.

Tried the bagel shop for the first time today if you’re looking for ham which a majority of the people look for with a ham egg and cheese or a ham and egg on a bagel this place doesn’t have it no ham on the menu only pork roll big mistake. Don’t know what they’re thinking And don’t know if they looked at other bagel shops so don’t bother going if you want ham at all ,second the self serve kiosk are good, but there should be one behind the register for the girl to take your order. I had issues with my kiosk when I was there, and also the girl had to help other people too. She seemed very proficient. There should be an option to give her your order at the register and while placing your order, if you want a plain bagel, they should be able to take that order also Not have you go over and pick the bagel yourself and bring it back to the register. There are too many hands in the cookie jar pertaining to self serve. The general public does not always use wax paper and I would prefer for the people behind the counter, preparing the food to take the bagels that I ordered, especially if they’re plain with nothing on them. But on the other hand, self serve will allow you to pick a lighter bagel darker bagel or if you’re conscientious and use the wax paper properly ,will allow you to give a squeeze to see if you’re getting is a soft bagel or an overdone bagel. I think I would rather have them pick the bagel, then allow the public to pick and choose squeeze and touch And the last two things the price of a pork roll egg and cheese or bacon, egg and cheese is way overpriced At $15 no matter how soft or good they are., especially since they don’t have ham I don’t know how they think they’re not losing business by not offering ham And just pork roll and also the eggs are poured into a mold, which I really do not prefer even though it makes the sandwich neater. I prefer the old style grill where they chopped up for scrambled sunny side over easy do not care for the mold. Unfortunately, I will not be frequently going back...

When you’re in North Cape May and craving a perfect bagel, The Bagel Shop is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that has the perfect modern charm. Check out the nostalgic vibes in the bathroom too. The space is spotless and feels brand new, with everything gleaming under bright, inviting lights.

One of the shop’s coolest features is the massive glass wall where you can watch the team skillfully prep, roll, and bake bagels right before your eyes. It’s mesmerizing to see the magic happen, and it makes you appreciate each bite even more.

The old-school diner booth seating is super cozy, perfect for kicking back with friends or enjoying a quiet solo breakfast. And let’s talk about the cold brew — it’s hands down one of the best around, smooth, refreshing, and just what you need to start your day.

The staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel welcome the second you walk in. Their warmth and attentiveness add an extra layer of comfort to the whole experience. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, The Bagel Shop is the kind of place you’ll want to return to...
