Yozu Sushi — Restaurant in Lower Township

First time eating here as I always go to Momiji but didn't feel like driving to Rio and my son told me this place was good too, so we decided to give it a try. Ordered online which was very simple, with accurate prices and zero issues processing the payment. Side note: this is not always the case especially with local restaurants where the prices reflected on their online menus are totally different than the actual in-store prices, where the site is difficult to navigate, or the payment processing glitchy at best.

Got a text when my food was ready which was great; said it would take 30 mins only took 20 so that's a plus.

We got four orders of chicken hibachi and a strawberry boba tea. Food was steaming hot and very well-packaged with the takeover containers being the type with portion dividers so everything remained separate and didn't mix all together. The tea even had a plastic seal (not a lid) heat sealed to the top so it couldn't spill or tip over in the car.

The hibachi was delicious and well worth the $20 it cost for soup, a very fresh, crispy salad, the entree which consisted of chicken, fried rice, sauteed veggies, and noodles which I was definitely not expecting. It was so much food, in fact, that no one could finish their whole meal, including my three teenage sons! One entree was a huge enough portion that we not only had dinner that night but also lunch the following day. It was far more food than I've ever been served in a hibachi restaurant.

If you are willing to drive approximately 10 minutes from downtown Cape May, this restaurant may be the most suitable option for a nearby and cost-effective Asian dining establishment. Went here last night, made reservation since we have 7 in our family & we're on vacation. We were celebrating our daughter's 11th bday, her pick(let them know ahead). Super impressed! All the staff was kind, went out of their way to make us feel welcome, they knew it was us when we showed up. They chatted with us a little throughout the dinner, sang happy birthday & brought a treat to our daughter at the end of the meal & were cute with our 5 children. Our chef was funny, silly & did a great job! The food was amazing, tasted so good we did the hibachi table with rice, noodles, veggies & steak, shrimp & lobster for our meats.
