On February 15 I purchased a 22" rose gold chain from the Lynchburg location. Lauren was my sales associate and I picked an item from a catalog to be ordered, paid a down payment and was told that it would be ordered first thing Monday morning and most likely be on special as well due to the holiday. Almost 10 days later we received a call from said associate that the necklace was in store and ready for pickup. However, the price I was originally charged was incorrect (sales associate mistake) and I would need to pay the difference upon pickup. I went in the following day (they were 5 mins late opening) and spoke with the manager in regards to the issue. John agreed that it was the sales associates mistake but he could not allow the piece to be sold at that price and I was informed at that time I would also need to pay for the additional shipping fee. I argued (politely) and we settled on a lower price than what was originally said to be owed for the mistake but it was still an additional cost from my original receipt. I am definitely not happy with my experience and will not be returning to purchase jewelry in the future. Mistake or no mistake we had a detailed receipt of the transaction and still charged additional fees due to the mistake of the sales associate.
