Updating this review today August 27th , 2024: The worst service known to humanity! I would give 0 start if I could. I took my car for a simple 7k oil and filter change, as usual, in May 2024. My car...a perfectly working VW Jetta (7yrs old) with pristine service history and only 51K miles, weekend driven, sole proprietor, all verifiable via service records. My appointment was at 8.00 am, prior to Memorial Day weekend. The car wasnt looked at until I called the service later in the afternoon. Prior to starting work on the vehicle they asked that I leave it overnight since they clearly havent touched it by the time i called and it was already close to end of business. I said absolutely not since i had a trip scheduled for the long weekend. I was shortly after called to pick up the car.I did so , however mid way home i was called to return to the service because they noticed a huge oil puddle right where my car was parked. To make matters worse, on my way back to the service, the car started fuming....oil all over the engine chamber. so here i am stranded on a highway post Three County VW "serviced my car". Long story short..i received no assistance from the service manager. I was given a towing car company contact that i called myself while stranded on the highway because , per the service manager, i had to call because they "close at 6 pm". Zero help, zero professionalism, zero people to meet me at the service or loan me a car given the situation....nothing!!!! I returned to the service the next morning after receiving NO call from Three County VW *(via Uber) and the service manager met me with a hostile attitude, very defensive, inviting me to discuss matters outside (not even in his office), denying any fault or mishandling of the vehicle, claiming that "anything can happen to a 7yr old car". The nerve, the lack of professionalism and empathy towards a client, the lack of accountability and respect are sky rocketing at service management level at this dealership. I was given a "courtesy" loaner while they retained my car over the long weekend to "fix" it and to check the impact of the oil splashing the engine chamber and i was promised a refund for the uber expenses for the back and forth to and from the dealership. With that, my weekend plans were ruined . Three months have passed (which is why I am updating this review today) and no one has ever sent me a check or a proper apology, nor even after the intervention of Volkswagen of America. I received nothing. I am sad to see that this is what loyal customers get , that this is what VW allows to represent them and that a brand with such great renown is being trashed by the action of their dealerships who have no respect for customers and no standards of quality of the product or work they deliver. More so, two months later i received (in July) i received a service text thanking me for servicing my car @ Three County VW on that respective day. I even see a service history on my Carfax report for 7/19 which NEVER happened. I am shocked at the behavior and the audacity to report a service visit that never occurred! Bottom line, please stay away from this VW dealership if you love and take care of your vehicle like i do (at least from a car servicing stand point) !

Services were sufficient for the free oil change due to the fact VW is in the middle of a trial for consumer fraud. Used my $500 "gift card" to suffer through the final months of ownership in this lemon of a TDI.
It seems their dealerships like to follow in the deceptive practices business model. Last oil change at Platinum Volkswagen I had "2 dented rims" that would cost $175 each to fix. I said no thanks, took to another shop, and they stated that I didn't have any dented rims... That shop was in the business of repairing dented rims, so seems they would have the financial gain to tell me otherwise.
Here is the breakdown of "Suggested Repairs" from this bunch....
$51 to replace an in-cabin air filter that I can tell they didn't really check because I marked the screws.
$8.59 to replace myself, 2 screws and 10 min. Savings doing it myself $42
$540 to change the FRONT rotors that I had changed less than 10,000 miles ago.
I don't think so.
$51 for an engine air filter?
They didn't offer to replace the mount that has been broken for years due to broken clips, so I assume they didn't even look at the filter.
$17.52 on Amazon and 30 seconds to change... $33 savings
$36 to replace a (one) license plate light bulb? Guess what? $6.26 FOR 4 OF THEM! That is $1.56 EACH! Savings $34
$36 to replace a side marker light? Guess what? IT'S THE SAME BULB AS THE LICENSE PLATE!!! Slightly harder to get to. Took me about 45 seconds vs the 20 seconds to change the license plate. Savings... $34
So, $174 in "charges" to replace two filters and two light bulbs vs. $32 in parts and 15 min in labor. I mean come on. Charge a reasonable price for the parts and maybe $50 in labor.
Boooo.....
Let's see how my next "fix" is on my clogged sunroof drains that I have been living with for about a year...
Well, here I am back to get my clogged sunroof drains cleaned out. Told it shouldn't take more than an hour. Call an hour later to see the progress. Answer: "It seems your rear drains are clogged, and we are putting a price together to unclog them". No duh, they are clogged, that's why I brought it in!
So now it's going to cost me $700+ to get them "fixed".
So what did the $128.40 I agreed to pay cover then you ask?
I guess that cost is just to tell you they there is a problem, not fix anything.

After watching a few online videos on the issue "How to fix a 2010 Volkswagen sunroof leak" by Lori Roberts (Thank you Lori) I took my automotive panel trim pry bar kit and took the 5 min required to drop the rear part of the headliner. After that, it was SUPER EASY to get to the hoses. I reached in, unplugged the hose that was on the passenger side and water came flowing from the hose as soon as the opening was lower than the top of the car level. The dealership did not perform the services billed. What I was told before leaving very disappointed was that they had performed the clean out procedure that would remove any blockage from all the drains, and the only remaining issue was that the hose had a leak in it where it attaches to the Sunroof. That was not the case, so I have ultimately been charged for services not rendered, and I would like a refund of the $128.40.
They have refunded me but this is still a bigger issue. I have photos of the part that I was told was serviced and it has no evidence of having been cleaned just...
Read moreStay away - I came here with my fiance in May 2023 to purchase a Passat (she was doing everything on her own I was just there with her). The sales guy turned to me and said "these females love the white cars" which is wild to say in front of said female making the purchase on her own lol. He did zero things for us, the finance guy did all the work. He was the only good thing in this entire dealership, plus Toni, who works with their service team, she's amazing and deserves better.
The service center is even worse, within a month of owning the car, maybe 2 weeks we were back 2 or 3 times and had to force them to give us a loaner as the car had bad gaskets that would take them weeks to fix (under warranty). Fast forward to 2 weeks ago we call to ask about the EPC light and if it would be covered under our warranty and were told most likely. We take it there for a new tire (also under warranty) and the other issue which turns out was the throttle body. My brother is a mechanic and has worked on the car but I figured lets save money and get it covered under warranty since Greg told us most likely its covered. It took them nearly two weeks to get back to us and say it's now not under warranty (note: the reason it’s not under warranty is because when we bought the car we were specifically told we can pay extra to get it certified pre-owned… it wasn’t, we were swindled into buying a third party “engine only” warranty which didn’t cover the throttle body for some reason) and would cost $850... for a throttle body. That's absurd so of course we said just do the tire. This whole time she's using my car for work and I'm working from home they didn't care to keep the car for two weeks. She finally goes to pick it up today (dropped off on the 9th, picked up 23rd of January) and now they're charging her $180 fee for diagnostics.... WE WOULDN'T HAVE BROUGHT IT IN TO SERVICE THIS IF IT WASN'T UNDER WARRANTY. I'm honestly shocked that Greg has been there so many years and doesn't know what parts (especially one as common as a throttle body on these cars) are covered under warranty or not. We called 3 or 4 business days after dropping the car off for an update and they didn't have one. They make absolutely zero effort to work with you, have no care about how long you go without your car, and just overall charge at the very least double for most service. Go somewhere else.
LOL Update: as expected, they charged that $180 to misdiagnose the car. We had the throttle body replaced with an authentic part and the issues are back 2 or so weeks later. Good job guys! Greg was also no help when we complained about how they handled this. Typical generic response to the review was...
