DO NOT RECOMMEND! I would leave ZERO stars if possible. The color put on was not what I asked for & when I complained, the owner said it was my fault for having so much grey hair! WHAT? Read on for details. I was in desperate need of color, and my usual "colorist" (my bff) couldn't do my hair. I called this salon & was grateful they could squeeze me in. My daughters graduation events were starting in the next few days, and I wanted to look my best. I made the appt with the owner. After a consult, I had decided on a different shade then I was. A pretty copper brown color (a level 5), not to dark, not to light. In the middle of application, the owner stated that she never does the color of the swatch that the client picks. She goes lighter to compensate for the dye going darker. My first thought was that should have been my choice but it was too late. I crossed my fingers & waited. I was not one of the "lucky" ones that go darker. My roots were CARROT ORANGE! The ends were a pretty red copper brown. My friend mentioned that they were lighter & the owners response was that they "blend well". The lighting in the salon is terrible & it was hard to see the results. It wasn't until I got outside (after I paid $100) that we could see the mistake. It was late on a Friday so instead of making a stink I left hoping by some miracle it wasn't as bad as I thought. It was. Fast forward a few days. I called on the following Wednesday about getting the roots fixed. No one answered so I left a message. I rec'd a call back the next day. Mind you, dye is not super expensive, it could've been an easy fix. However, the owner went on defense immediately. She stated that she would not fix it. "Your friend messed up your hair, that's why you were in" That IS NOT TRUE! We were NOT there for a color correction. When I mentioned she put a level 7 on my hair & NOT the color I asked for, her response was that basically it's my fault it went lighter cause I have so much grey hair!! Isn't a "professional" supposed to know how to balance that fact to get the result asked for??? If you are still reading, THANK YOU! I know it won't change anything really, but hopefully my experience will save someone else...
Read moreI called at 9am on a Saturday and was able to get a 3pm appointment for a cut, color, and eye brow wax! I showed up early because I was super excited! The waiting area was cute with cozy decor and beverages available. The woman at the reception area was inviting and wonderful to chat with while I waited. That’s where I had my first issue. My appointment was for 3pm and Jen never came to get me until 3:45. I understand running behind but she had my number and should have given me a courtesy call to have me come in at 3:30. Once in the back I liked what I seen. Each station seemed to be roomy so each stylist could move about. As I sat through getting my hair done I noticed Jens language. I’ll be the first to admit I have the mouth of a sailor but I also know there are times when such language isn’t appropriate, like when there’s a brand new client in my chair. When it was time for my shampoo I was relaxed! Reclining chairs and padded shampoo bowls made my favorite part even better! The end result of my services? My eyebrows look perfect! The pain was well worth it! My hair, over all I’m satisfied! The cut is exactly what I wanted but the color is red not purple. Let me say this though, I actually like the color even though it’s wrong.
I hope my review helps your over all view, not just a service or stylist! Due to the unprofessional matters of my visit I won’t...
Read moreOverall, I don't think I would be coming back. Price is expensive, service is okay, cutting and coloring skills are lacking, and math skills are horrible. If you are looking for an okay haircut and color for an expert prices, this is the place for you. Just not for me.
They had an offer on google. The offer was free haircut if you get your hair colored. The place looks shady from outside, but it was very nice inside.
