Very nice facility. Unfortunately some tyrant who is ignorant of the law posted signs stating "No smoking within 25 ft of the building. UWS 18.06"

UWS 18.06 says absolutely nothing about smoking. There is a statute, UWS 18.08, banning smoking within 25 ft of UW RESIDENTIAL buildings, but that does NOT apply to any other University buildings. UWS 18.08 clearly intends for designated smoking areas near non-residential buildings, such as this library. If the UW wants to ban smoking within 25 feet of all UW buildings, they cannot legally do so unless the law is changed by the legislature.

Anyone who gets harassed for smoking near the library should...

There are a lot and a lot and a lot of seats for studying !!!! Full of seats! The best view is the department of education, there are a lot of seats can view the lakes ! Also each east there is a charger. I have never seen a library with so many seats! It is a seat-friendly library. The 1st floor of the business school, there are many books inside but seems not enough if you want to research some olde books of investment like WD Gann. I see they have copies of Gann online, but I can’t find any on selves. The only bad thing is that you can smell smoking in front of the entrance door, it is not good for anyone what does not like smelling...
