Crowley Cupcakes — Attraction in Madison

If in the mood for a stand-out cupcake, this is a great shop focused on making creative and tasty cupcakes on premises. There are a couple of couches you can sit in front of the shop window where you can enjoy your cupcake(s).

Crowley Cupcakes shop is very cute, located on a popular side street usually buzzing with activity. The shop is clean and uncluttered with a large glass case as the focal point. The cupcake display case was perfectly filled with shelf after shelf of unique looking cupcakes. The top part of the cupcake display has large cupcakes and the bottom has mini sized cupcakes which gives you a LOT to choose from.

It took us a while to pick out just the right cupcakes because there were so many to choose from.

The cupcakes are not overly decorated, or glitzy, rather, they are neat, each with its own little flair that usually gives you some hint as to the flavor.

Crowley Cupcakes does not deliver so plan on stopping in when you are passing through town or browsing the local shops.

I'm not usually a cupcake person. I’ve had too cupcakes with dry, crumbly bottoms, and I'm never a huge fan of frosting. So I was sure I was meant to go through life as a cupcake hater, but someone brought a half dozen of Crowley's to a party.

Color me surprised.

The strawberry shortcake cupcake was wonderfully moist on the inside, and I didn't feel the need to scrape off half the frosting like I do with most cupcakes. The person who brought these to the party also said they'd kept these in the fridge for quite a few hours before the part, so I was surprised as how moist they'd stayed in spite of the chill.

I don't live in the area, but if I were in the mood for some dessert and passing through, Crowley's is probably the only place I would even consider...

I recently discovered Crowley Cupcakes in Madison, NJ, and have since purchased two dozen cupcakes: one for a friend’s birthday and another for a colleague’s celebration.
