Manchester Park — Attraction in Madison

Nice enough park. A good playground with gravel ground cover. There's enough open space that people use the park for Ultimate and for rec-league sports, and there is one basketball court and a sand volleyball court. No water fountain; a small pond but no beach. Manchester park is a lovely park. It has open fields for play, a play structure with swings, a baseball field, a sand volleyball court, basketball court, a small pond and lots of native grass space. That said, it does lack some of the amenities of other parks have such as a shelter and bathrooms. I would love to see this park improved to have a small dog park area similar to other parks...

Nice open park. Paved walkway through the park. Basketball court, small pond, playground. Post no dogs, but that doesn’t seem to be enforced . Saw about 40 people and about 30 were walking dogs when I was there. No trash cans. But that might be a...
