I love Mooyah and their food. The McKee Rd. Store is horrible!
I have ordered thru Uber Eats at this location many times. I try to avoid to speak to the staff because they do not speak back to you and are very rude.
I ordered a The Best Quesonario burger. When I arrived home the Queso was missing which is the main ingredient to the burger! I called and stated what was wrong with my order. The staffer stated they were sorry and I would get a full refund to took the info she needed and we hung up. Flash forward to a week later and still no refund has shown up. I called Mooyah again on a Monday afternoon about 4 pm. I ask for a manager and the staffer said "no manager" and hung up. I called back and asked the same thing he stated "no manager Monday next." I told him I needed to speak to a manager about my issue. He then put the phone down and you can hear him speak to someone in Spanish and my name being repeated then the phone hangs up. I call again and tell them I need to speak to someone and to stop hanging up on me. He than said, "okay," puts the phone down again and you can hear him talking to a man again in Spanish about me wanting to speak to a manger. One of the men goes, "nomas cuelgale" now I am bilingual and could understand everything. He told the kid who answered the phone to hang up on me again. So that is what the staffer did. Hang up on me.
I then called the Mooyah on Junction Road and explained the situation to that manger. She was so sweet and helpful!!!! I am sure this is not the first time she has had to deal with Mckee customers. She deserves a raise. She listened, she gave me a solution, and made me feel like she cared. If you want a Mooyah burger go to the Junction Road Location. They are great!
Avoid Mckee Road location!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE: I was told that general manager was going to call me to help me with this and they never called.

Read moreWish I could give it 0 stars!!!! Customer service has gone way downhill! The manager even noticed I got overcharged on my meal (we used a coupon) and yet he refused to refund me! He system does not allow him to refund? Really? A dollar or two, who cares but when you are hitting $5+ dollars, that's terrible. On top of that, the manager kept saying that he does not have very good English whenever I pointed out and showed him how I was right. He even agreed that my math was correct and they were wrong but refused to refund my money and then would yet again tell me his English is no good. I will tell you that my husband and I were both frustrated even from the beginning of the order when the cashier kept messing up the order. She was unsure of how the coupon worked. My husband was frazzled and realized the mistake after we paid. I even showed the math and broke it down. All the manager wanted to do was give me a coupon for a free burger.......really? That's what I gave you and look how well that did not turn out. Fyi....check your receipts. Other customers heard what happened and checked theirs....one next to us was overcharged as well. Who knows how many customers they have overcharged and gotten away with it. To think, all they had to do was refund the money that I was rightfully owed. Oh did I mention it was hard to enjoy the food because we kept getting bothered by the manager to try and prove himself right (I had to yet again show him I was right). What...
Read moreIt’s newly remodeled and has more booths making it super family friendly. The large fry is HUGE and we never finish it. The fries are awesome and I asked to try a few sweet potato fries and not only did they give me quite a few but TWO servers (one being the manager) came to my table to ask what I thought of them. 5 stars for great service, 5 stars for food, 5 stars for the new restaurant look. Quickly becoming our go-to spot.
Update October 2020: I haven’t been to Mooya’s in a while and was back this week. It delivered. Great food and great service from Effie. I have three children that are all too young to open those little ketchup packets 😂and she was so good to offer to get us a few containers worth which made my meal much easier. I’m happy they are indoor seating again, too. We will be back for the great, HOT fries, burgers, and always friendly and attentive service. Thanks Effie!
Update October 2021: This place still delivers on service and food. I’ve been going about once a week for the past two months and leave full and pleased every time. I really appreciate that the employees come around to your table. Stella came to our table twice, asking if we needed a knife and extra plate for sharing (which we did) more condiments, a to go box etc. Stella was great and so are all the employees at this location.
