Our story starts with moving from NH to CT. We are clean fanatics with hairy labrador retrievers. We are 100% Dyson customers. Most recently our Dyson required service. We called Bank's Oreck Clean Home Center in Manchester before opening hours and left a detailed message. Saverio immediately called us back promptly at opening and left us a detailed message answering all our questions and concerns. After Saverio's promptness in returning our call, we made a decision to have them proceed with identifying our Dyson's repair. Due to the inability to be mobile, Julie went to the store to drop off our Dyson alone. Saverio immediately identified the repairs needed while Julie waited. Saverio provided costs for us to make a decision. I was most impressed with Saverio's request to initiate FaceTime with me so I could be involved with listening to all our options for repair, as well as, additional feedback for refurbished models and newer units. Saverio was extremely helpful and very patient with all of our numerous questions. His knowledge, experience and demeanor earned us their trust. Saverio gave us live demonstrations of new vacuum options without any pressures of securing a new sale. Saverio discussed optional trials including warranties in great detail. We were 100% Dyson customers until our experience with Bank's Oreck. It was an easy decision to convert us to a life customer of Banks Oreck. Because I was not in the market to purchase a new vacuum at that time, we went home with a trial Oreck Forever Gold LSE U7070ECS. We did extensive research on the quality of the product and reviewed ratings. The information I found on line was a little different than what Saverio and Banks Oreck Vacuum Store provided. Banks Oreck Vacuum Store provides better warranties, better maintenance and a better trade-ins. Bank's Oreck and Saverio demonstrated a friendly, non pressured, experienced professional approach. Saverio's performance included both quality and accuracy. Saverios's collaboration and communications skills were impeccable. Bank's Oreck and Saverio have proven that they can be dependable and trustworthy. Banks Oreck exceeded expectations. Saverio has a contagious positive work ethic. Saverio adapted to all that I presented him with. Saverio is an extremely effective member of the Banks family. I would suggest to move all your service needs to Banks Oreck of Manchester CT.

When our 12-14 YO Kenmore Progressive started misbehaving (Power-Mate cutting out intermittently) I started researching replacements. I was leaning toward Miele and used their website to search for local dealers. That’s how I discovered Bank’s Oreck. Since they repair most any make of vacuum, I decided to give them a call. Joey, their repair person and sometimes salesman, offered a free diagnosis of the Kenmore so we brought it in. He narrowed it down to a connection in the wand, a not easily obtained part for this aged machine.
While there, we looked at other new canister vacs. The Miele which I’d researched was out of stock but Joey showed us a comparable SEBO model, also German engineered and manufactured. We liked it, and my wife was especially keen on the light (13#) weight. I went back the next day and bought the floor model. It was the only one they had in stock, and although Joey had had told me they could get one from another Bank’s store, I was happy to purchase the one we’d “test driven” at a discount. That’s when I met Josh, the owner. He was also knowledgeable and helpful. He facilitated my confirmation of the 10/10/7 warranty via email and told me to contact him with any questions about the use or features of the new vac.
What a great team these guys make! Although I pass this store regularly, I never noticed it before (unlike the highly visible Glastonbury appliance store with the poor service reviews) and it was only by luck that I found them. When we walked in, Joey greeted us and took his time explaining all our options. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. After picking up our vacuum and trying it out at home, it did not seem to work and I called Bank's. Josh came out to our house almost immediately. It turns out that the vacuum is compatible--I just did not put it in the outlet correctly. Josh was also wonderful to work with.
