Before I start my rant, I want to clear a few things.
I understand the struggles of an employee working there as I used to work for Starbucks a few years ago. 1.a. Will not call them baristas or partners anymore because unfortunately, the company truly doesn’t treat them as such, which is extremely sad. I understand how hectic, busy, and stressful it can be in this location and others in the area. I understand how things have been lately at Starbucks and how there’s not enough staffing or support.
Now, here’s where my annoyance begins. Mobile ordered a drink. Got to the speaker, no problem. Got to the window. Was never even acknowledged at the window, not a hi, hello, or be right with you.
The employee hands me a drink, not even looking at me, and it was not what I ordered. Ok, no biggie. I understand there’s tons of drinks to be made. I asked the employee if she can add what I ordered (Ice Coffee with minor modifications). The employee scuffed away, stormed off who knows where. 5 mins pass by, comes back with another ice coffee, but with everything I asked, tenfold. It was disgusting.
I wanted to go back in the store to get it corrected but couldn’t due to being in a hurry.
If I am paying for a simple drink, I honestly expect that same simple drink I paid for to be handed to me, not something that the barista decided is best to do to save time and be brushed off.
There’s no reason to be rude to your customers. Everyone has something going on personally and this employee may have had a terrible day. But it was not correct to take it out on customers. Not professional at all.
Have gone to this location three times this month and have had issues every single time. The manager should take a look at the employees and training properly.
Will never go to the...
Read moreMy friend and I went inside and waited 5 minutes, as the first people in line while employees walked around/socialized. While there were several (6) employees managing/standing around the drive thru there were 3 at the front register and no one acknowledged us or even said “we will be right with you”. After waiting two additional minutes to even be acknowledged, we left. I felt it was very rude and unprofessional. Only one person before us was waiting for their order to be prepared as they already ordered, im not sure what the other employees were working on but it wasn’t serving people. Most times SOMEONE/ANYONE will acknowledge waiting customers with at the very least a hello.
Also, as we were leaving from being ignored, another customer was greeted immediately.
I’ve never been ignored at any other location. I will not be returning to this one.
This doesn’t even include displeasure for...
Read moreI normally go to this Starbucks a lot and get great service however last couple of times I was met with a young man at the cashier who was very unpleasant just last night at around 6:00 we went through the drive through in hopes of getting the red cups at first he didn’t look over once to acknowledge us even once mumbled the total and after about 20 minutes waiting in line did not bother checking in once when we finally received our coffee we asked about the cups this cashier could not even manage to deliver two words to say we’re out and instead shook his fingers without even looking at us in a very dismissive way honestly with someone with this attitude I would reconsider what role they have in the establishment and front window would not be my first choice very dissatisfied as Starbucks is our go to because we know we can always expect the service Dunkin’ Donuts...
