I recently organized a gathering and needed to place a fairly large order of 12 paninis, all different types. From the start, I requested that each sandwich’s name be written on the container so everyone could easily identify their order. I also asked to have two of the paninis placed in separate bags from the rest.
For the most part, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The team members who took my order initially were helpful and seemed to understand my specific requests. The food itself was delicious—each panini was well-prepared and flavorful, reflecting the usual high quality I’ve come to expect from Hot Table.
However, my experience took a sharp turn at the cashier station with a staff member named Rashad. When I politely asked if he was labeling the boxes, he responded with noticeable attitude, stating he could not do that. He turned around, slammed a menu on the counter, and told me that if I wanted my order “done properly,” I should order online next time. This was jarring and felt dismissive, especially since I had made this request politely in person.
It got worse when I reminded him that I needed two sandwiches placed in separate bags (he had only done it for one). Rashad’s reaction was hostile; he seemed annoyed and acted as though my request was an inconvenience rather than a part of customer service.
It’s disheartening when one person’s behavior overshadows an otherwise pleasant visit. Hot Table has great food and I usually have positive interactions with the staff, but this encounter left me questioning whether I should bring my business here again. If this kind of treatment continues unchecked, it unfortunately undermines the hard work and courtesy displayed by everyone else...

I have no clue it was never offered to me so when I asked for chicken she got all upset at me? And then just passed me on to another girl who had no clue so I just stood there for a while?… I was scared to even ask for more hot sauce because of the attitude I was getting… the girl at the register was so sweet though just wish my bday meal could’ve...
Read moreI placed an online order for a 1030 pick up. Door was unlocked and open at 1027… I was told they weren’t open. Waited till 1035 to go back in. Was welcomed to “picking up” and nothing from the 3 employees for 6 mins. It’s now 1046…… still waiting for my food. Thank goodness I only had a 15 min break from work… all this for 2 sandwiches that after all fees is almost 50$ hope the write up from work hurts less. uPDATE The response from higher up was very fast and helpful! They were very efficient in handling my issues and resolving my complaints!!!!!!!! For the promptness I will add 2 stars for service. Even though I won’t go back it’s nice to see the care in resolving my problems....
