I’ve avoided this Taco Bell location for 3 years now. I never seen it dirty like the others have said, but the service is awful. Back then I’d have to place a kiosk order and wait 30-40 minutes to get my food at night time. But I work over by the mall and didn’t want to spend an extra $3 so on my break I decided to come here. BIG MISTAKE. On Monday I placed a mobile order for pick up at 1:15pm. I take my break at 1:30pm and it’s a 3 minute drive, so I wanted to make sure there would be enough time. I get there and go inside, there’s one other woman waiting to just pay for her food. Paying with cash and going inside is a big no no, as I can tell you still gotta wait forever. I’m a patient person, I was okay with waiting 5-10 mins. After about 5 mins a worker comes from the drive thru and cashed her out. Great, I’m next. Nope! When I walk up to the counter say hi she just walks away and goes back to drive thru! My food was already made, it was sitting on the stand behind the cash register. They had a giant note hanging that said “don’t come behind counter to grab food.” Gee, I wonder why they have to post that. Because the management doesn’t want to take care of the customers inside. I wait, and wait, I try calling over a cook who just looks at me and goes back to work. 5 mins turns into 10 and then 15 minutes. Finally close to 20 minutes the worker appears out from the drive thru corner to do something and I shout “picking up a mobile order!”
She says 1 minute and walks over, grabs my bag and I’m out. I speed back to work mad as hell now that I don’t have anytime to eat.
Any longer of a wait and i would’ve walked behind the counter and grabbed MY BAG THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR.
This taco bell and the management, owners, is nothing but a failure. Absolutely horrific that corporate hasn’t come down hard on this location yet. Hopefully as the ratings go down they’ll step in.
Hartford Taco Bell, isn’t a failure. Hartford Taco Bell is a 5 star experience. Even on the busiest of nights im not waiting that long. Hartford Taco Bell cares about their inside customers, and it’s a location I visit 1-2 times every week.
Though I see at some point in the past few years they took down the poster in back that told employees to stop smoking marijuana in...
Read moreI went to this location's drive-thru on the evening of Sunday, December 6th, 2020, and received the worst customer service in my life. On a big sign on this location's drive-thru menu, it said FEATURED: GRILLED CHEESE BURRITO. I thought that sounded great so I decided to order it. The woman who took my order said "they don't serve that here, I have no idea what you're talking about." So, I proceeded to read her the menu which said "FEATURED ITEM" and she finally got it after I read it to her about 3 times. I then ordered a cheesy bean and rice burrito, beef chalupa, two soft tacos, and a medium Pepsi, which she also had trouble understanding. I figured she might have not been able to hear me through the intercom but when I read my screen everything was correct so I pulled forward after confirming with her that my screen was my correct order. When I pulled forward she handed me my Pepsi, swiped my card, handed it back to me, and closed the window. She then proceeded to stand in the corner with her arms crossed watching other people work for 15 minutes! Not once did she apologize for the wait or come up to me. There was then a customer acting belligerent, beeping her horn at me, yelling racial slurs, and then even got out of her car and approached the window which can all be seen on video! The woman who took my order stuck her head out and said "whose beeping like that?", giving me an attitude as if it was me and I said the woman behind me! Who was still outside of her car, putting me at risk as she wasn't wearing a mask and screaming at the top of her lungs. After 15 minutes of being yelled at, insulted, and put at risk with absolutely NO employee nor manager intervening, I was handed my food. Which was NONE of the food I ordered. I received a crunchy chicken taco with just chicken and lettuce, a cold chalupa, and a...
Read moreIf I could rate 0 stars, I would. The food is alright, but they don't follow the customizations. My sister ordered ahead on the app and I went to pick it up. I was there 20 minutes before I could finally get someone's attention to let them know my order name. They ignored the door dash driver in front of me, who's order was ready before I even walked in the door, for longer. When he finally got their attention, he was handed the food, but when he asked for the drink, he was told he needed to wait.
In my 20-minute wait, 3 customers who came in after me and ordered on the kiosk got their orders while we still waited. After I finally got someone to come to the front so I could give them the name, it turns out the food was in the drive thru the whole time. It says on each sticker PLUS the receipt in store!
Before I was handed the food, she asked to see my door dash screen. It was a mobile order, not door dash, and it even says mobile order on the stickers and receipt. The food at this point is freezing now too! When I was handed the cups to get the drinks, I asked for a drink carrier and she walked away. I got my drinks and asked again for a drink carrier and was ignored. So when she came over again, I loudly asked for a drink carrier one more time. She huffed and told me I would need to wait and she will get me one in a minute.
The service is atrocious, the employees are so rude it's not even funny. Then, when you get the food home, the customizations you have to pay extra for aren't even done! It wasn't even complicated custom requests, it was adding in specific sauces and going light on the spicy sauces.
If you complain to management, they roll their eyes and suggest if you aren't happy, try another location. My coworkers and I go to taco bell almost every day but I'm starting to rethink where I get...
