This review is about the delivery service, not about the store or the product. After 2 hours in the store we settled on the i8 series mattress. When buying a high end product such as a $6,000 mattress it is expected that delivery service will be on par with the price. Delivery arrived one week later and within the 4 hour promised window, however the delivery crew did not make a promised call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Two guys spoke limited English, one of them practically none. When arrived, they were not happy that the bedroom is on the second floor and said that the mattress is 200lbs. (!??). Moving on, our bedframe had 6 crossmember support slats screwed into the frame. They said slats need to be removed and they are not allowed to disassemble furniture and carry no tools. None of this was mentioned during the 2 hours sales pitch in the store in South Windsor, CT. Not a hint that the bedframe must be diassemled by the owner prior to delivery. So my wife, being home alone at the time of delivery, had to use power tools to partially disasemble and unscrew a bunch of screws in our bed while 2 delivery guys watched and waited. When the mattress was put inside the bedframe, it was put too high on its adjustable legs, metal base of the mattress protruding 2 inches above the bedframe. Another round of arguments and sign language to make them readjust the height. When the bed was quickly connected to wifi one of the guys simply handed over a form to sign stating that he provided training and demonstration of the product. None of that was done. When asked to move the old mattress to another room, one of them blurted something out that they are not working on the commission and are not supposed to do that, even though SleepNumber's delivery policy clearly states that the set up and demo will take about 2 hours, training will be provided, old mattress will be either removed or moved to another room at owner's request. This delivery from Sleep Number was a terrible experience, nothing close to promised. You should screen and train your delivery contractors more selectively and responsibly so they don't ruin your reputation. Customer does not expect that 2 delivery morons show up and complain about the weight of the product, set it up improperly, not allowed to use tools to prepare installation and are not able to clearly communicate and need to be convinced to move the...

I'm very fussy about my dang pillow. I was shocked when he pulled out & suggested a perfect pillow for my sleeping neurosis! We added really a soft SOFT sheet set. -Leo blue light blocking glasses - I had been looking! Thanks to Jeremy for placing the heavy weighted blanket & new soft pillow on me. I think I fell asleep! Got the blankie! My waking sunshine devise broke so f time to replace. Good, small light.
Unfortunately, I just purchased a good mattress from Mattress Firm on line (my house burnt up). I bought the same mattress. * I shall check the trial/return date - I'm sold on your gorgeous inventory. You folks know COMFORT! I have no issues with my new mattress, but, hey, I didn't know about Sleep Number (just TV).
Jeremy is a great ambassador for Sleep Number. Believes in what he sells & uses his talent & personal strengths.
We chatted a bit about life (don't worry, no other customers). He showed interest and empathy in my tragedies of late. Great personal traits. That personality increases return customers and referrals as you well know. If Jeremy was not there, I highly doubt I would have spent time browsing for "fire" replacements. That day I was on a mission for a PILLOW. I was not shopping for other! Bought pillow, blanket, light, glasses. Discounts had value. So, in short, Jeremy OVER deserves a big raise or Holiday Bonus. Read moreI went to this store yesterday (first time I ever visited any sleep number store) to purchase a particular mattress and walked out the door 5 minutes later, with 2 of them waiting, which didn't bother me at all. I honestly was prepared to wait longer while the salespeople finish with what they were doing. She said, on an exhale sounding like I was bothering her, and I was shocked, can I help you. Her body language also gave the same message. Her tone of voice didn't change with the next two exchanges, which were I'm here to buy a mattress, do you know anything about the sleep number bed and I responded that I knew it was an air mattress with duel controls. I then told her I wanted a gel cushion and she snapped, they all are. You could tell for some reason I was bothering her. I can not figure out what I did. Did I look like I was just looking and she had had enough of those types of people this weekend with the sale? I don't know. Maybe she was having a bad day. It really bothered me enough to leave and now I still need to buy the mattress. I'm sure there are other stores not to much further than the So....
