I'm changing my original review, after we were contacted by Olive Garden once they saw the review I left about our first experience at the Manchester location they asked us to give them another chance. They were going to notifying the store manager of the horrible service, or lack of, that we experienced when we went there and make sure that the experience we had never happened to another guest. My husband and I waited about 4 weeks before going back to see if they really were going to make a change, one that really stuck. Well let me tell you it was like a completely different restaurant, we were greeted with 2 smiling hostesses and seated right away, our waiter was....AWESOME!! I don't know what other word to use Ethan was right on top of things he came to our table right away, got us drinks, then appetizers, put in the food order when he dropped of the appetizer, was attentive to our glasses and came by the table just in time for us to order another drink, everything flowed so flawlessly. Ethan had a great personality very upbeat but not overbearing, our food was delicious and our experience here could not have been better. Way to redeem yourself manchester Olive Garden...Thanks for making us feel like we were valued and appreciated đ Thank you staff for stepping it up we appreciate your...
Read moreHad a reservation for 7 people. But the table was round.. Then we requested that we have 8 people so they gave us a section where no one was sitting there & it was stinking. It smelled like water damage musty smell - hard to breathe. Again request to be moved. Again he gave us a round table for 8 of us. So I requested that we could put the 3 square tables together. He did it after a bit. Bread came and the server came. We ordered the drinks. The server came again I had to request for plates to eat bread which was cold by this time. The starter came & had to request for the forks, spoons & knives. Drinks arrived. Salad had arrived. Due to dairy allergy I had to request a separate salad with oil & vinegar. Everyone had got the 2 bowls of salad to share between 6 people & I had a plate of salad. I had to request for Olive oil & vinegar. Everyone had finished their salad. Food came and we cut the cake for my daughter birthday. The bill came to $269.00 +$23.38 plus a 20 percent tip..... No mint chocolate was given. On leave I had to request for 8 mint chocolate. The girl gave me 7 so I requested again for 1 more. After spending so much money on food & per booking a reservation. Olive Garden has change to poor standards. We been coming since 2004. The house wine used to be good...
Read moreI am giving this two stars because 1) my meal was hot, and 2) the online ordering and curbside pickup was good.
This meal was absolutely terrible and I am so glad it was purchased with an old gift card rather than cash from my pocket. This meal was curbside, but I began eating in the car as my husband drove, so it did not sit for any time longer than it would have if it was served at the restaurant. (Don't judge, I'm 5 months pregnant and was craving good Italian food) Unfortunately this whole meal went in the garbage after a few bites.
I ordered the chicken gnocchi soup and seafood Alfredo meal. The soup had mediocre flavor, hardly any chicken and the gnocchi was so overcooked that it was soggy and falling apart. The seafood Alfredo was a small portion, especially for the $19 charged for it. The only seafood in this was a handful of shrimp and bay scallops. Certainly a SEAFOOD Alfredo (especially at $19) should include some additional variety of proteins; muscles, lobster chunks, calamari perhaps? The Alfredo sauce was sparing, oily, and totally chunky. As if someone simply tried to mix oil and crushed feta and call it a sauce. The fettuccine was so overcooked that it broke apart as I lifted it with my fork. Overall a very disappointing experience and...
