TheraPie — Restaurant in Manhattan

We saw good reviews on line so we decided to try it out. We were looking for Key lime or lemon meringue pie but they did'nt have any, so we went with our second favorites. Let me start of by saying the pie looked delicious however the taste was dissapointong. I tried the cherry pie with the lattice crust. The crust was rock hard and thick. The filling was not a traditional consistency or flavor. It was a congealed consistency and the flavor was that of a bing cherry. My husband had a slice of the grandma's apple pie. It was decent but I wouldn't call it grandma's. Considering it was $6 for a slice of pie and came ice cold it did not meet our expectations. But to be fair they were ice cold when we ate them. I love therapie and their pals at the hungry chickpea! These two share a storefront and you can order a nutritious meal and a tasty slice all in one stop! The Green Goddess grain bowl and a slice of yummy pie is my go to (biscoff cheesecake this week…are you kidding me! this is so good)! We are the people in our family who bring the pies to holiday functions now because our out of town families love these pies (and obviously so do we). No matter what we pick, we always love it!

The managements customer service is top notch! Time had gotten away from me that I needed some pies for an event I was helping with. I frantically emailed management early in the morning after I realized the time to pick up my pies, by the time I had ordered them, was going to be after the event I was helping with. I not only got a very quick response, but they bent over backwards to help fulfill my order in plenty of time! I was so relieved & appreciative!
