Slumberland Furniture — Attraction in Mankato

2023-Since my previous experience was fabulous, I returned to Slumberland in May 2023, as I had just purchased a larger home. Ryan was fantastic with assisting me in choosing items and with setting up delivery (which to my surprise was quite reasonable).

However, delivery was not to be attempted until many months later (September 2023), due to a wet basement issue. Ryan, Chris, and Marty (manager) were incredibly patient and understanding with rescheduling.

Fast forward to after basement issue (thought) was addressed, delivery takes place, only the delivery folks were not exactly the best, as they denied delivering the sofa to the basement, citing issues with the opening, please note however that previous larger items had been delivered. In any case, the delivery staff/side of things have nothing to do with the service I received at Mankato Slumberland. The delivery staff brought the sofa back to the warehouse, to await for further instructions from myself and/or Marty.

Fast forward to January 2024, sewer pipe issue-unable to schedule for delivery, then to the flooding season of 2024 (June through July), resulting in the entire basement being torn out and remodeled, which fine/great, only that sofa was still sitting in the warehouse-taking up space!

Phoned Marty and explained the continued issues, and let me say this much, Marty is a credit to Slumberland team! He was incredibly understanding and patient (again). Marty went ahead and credited back my funds, no questions asked.

Because of the phenomenal and kind service I have received, once the basement has been completed, I will return to Slumberland Mankato to make my furniture purchases. And most likely not just for the now refinished basement, but for the rest of the house as well going forward.

I cannot say enough nice things about Slumberland in Mankato. With only a couple of days to find furniture for my Mom's memory care apartment, they bent over backwards to help me. Chris Pipes knew the inventory in and out and helped me find things that were available immediately and fit the style I was looking for. He was kind, caring and understanding. Marty Clark, one of the owners, got involved and he was amazing too. Chris and Marty worked hand in hand with me to adjust the delivery day and time as things evolved with the move in. When an electric table I selected didn't work upon delivery, they had a replacement delivered immediately. This store is staffed with kind people who provide excellent service. Our sales associate Skyler K. was the best!!! He didn’t pressure us into buying anything and tried to find us the best deal for what we had been looking for. Skyler listened to our wants and needs and went to work right away. When I said something was a little to pricey for me, he went back to the drawing board to to find something in my budget. We got three pieces of furniture (two from one maker and one from another). Skyler suggested certain colors to use for the different pieces so that they complement each other in our home.
