Vast range of ethnic food selections unavailable elsewhere, of which the German offerings (although invariably superb) are but the cornerstone.

Household and seasonal non-food items are very conveniently shelved in separate sections. It's worth going here when you've got money to spend, though; cleaning products are frequently the cheapest in town, and some of the seasonal stuff can be sensational bargains — all the moreso if you happen to get them on clearance.

Best of all, in my view, the durable goods sold here are actually extremely durable. Don't be afraid to try things just because the store brand names may be unfamiliar. The Crofton kitchen knives are by far the best I've ever had, and my Easy Home brand electric shaver and Dentiguard battery-powered toothbrush are still going strong more than two years after I bought them.

Understandably, the store is very often quite busy, but seems to run like clockwork. Cashiered checkout is faster than practically anyplace else in town, though their way of doing certain things may at first seem odd to American shoppers. (Be sure and bring a quarter if you need to use a shopping cart; and either bring your own bags and boxes, or be prepared to spend a couple of bucks...

Wonderful store, most workers are helpful and are very considerate. This 1 star although goes to whoever was working this morning in a black and gray shirt. 😐 I cant believe you barely looked at me and you gave me a half answer... I had 1 question. These are the kind of workers I see everywhere that either need some time off to collect themselves or these are the ones who are actually rude everyday and have no consideration for others unless its someone they like or themselves. Please consider other people, its not just you who has bad days, we all do and we are just here to shop and get home as well as not make things hard on you so you...

I’ve been going to the same Aldis for 10 years and this time it was different, “buff guy, cool hand Luke “ was so rude, impatient and told me I had to leave the cart at the register blah blah blah . I always had no problem taking the cart to the grocery Packing area and then returning the cart to the register. But cool hand Luke was like sir you need to leave the card here and carry your groceries and pack them over there in the packing area . This is so ridiculous. I’ll try it one more time and then after that I’m going to shop somewhere else . I don’t think there such thing as customer service anymore...
