Harbor Freight — Local services in Mankato

I do not like how they require your phone number no matter what you purchase. The phrase "no thanks I'm not interested" should be enough to proceed with your transaction.. Never the case. I was there yesterday and I waited in line and watched the gentleman wait on the 4 customers in front of me just nice as can be talking about the weather and everything you can think of. The second I told him just the one item and that I'm not interested in the phone number, his demeanor changed immediately . No conversation was exchanged and no eye contact was made, and the guy literally dropped the change and and receipt on the counter instead of putting it in my hand and that was it. If you missed out on your bonus or whatever kickback you get cause I didn't give you my phone number, I mean that sucks for you but just do your job. No reason to be rude. I can't say that I will never shop here again, but I won't provide you a phone number so quit asking....

Wonderful tools at wonderful prices, valuable coupons and in-store specials, and friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff all combine to make Harbor Freight Tools the best tool store in town, hands down. I very much look forward to shopping there again, sooner than later, and will absolutely recommend them to my friends without a moment's hesitation. (My sôle misgiving is wanting to buy almost everything on the shelves that catches my eye as being perfectly well suited to fulfilling some long-felt need or other in my life, to which my initial surprised reaction is invariably some version of "they actually make a tool for that?"! I recently stopped into harbor freight in Mankato to purchase a 12,000 pound Badland winch which would be my second one that I purchased from them.. they had the winch in stock the cordless remote in stock and the manager and his sales staff were extremely helpful and made my day excellent. I also was looking for a couple trailer jacks for my jet ski trailers they just happen to have two of them on clearance sale which the manager pointed out to me. This place has a top-notch staff and treats the customers like family. Next time your Mankato definitely check out harbor freight they will have something you need at a great price and great staff...
