Hilliards Chocolates — Attraction in Mansfield

Mmmm....my hometown chocolate store. It's because of you, Hilliards, that Hershey will never be enough. Most chocolates are made on site at the factory in Easton, and with a fudge sale in July and an almond toffee crunch sale in August, you can start packing on those extra pounds for Fall with ease. And the ice cream (Easton location only, seasonally)??!?!!?? With flavors like coffee cashew turtle and chocolate orange truffle, it's the best around. Add real chocolate sprinkles and a waffle cone for an extra treat. And the homemade carmel/chocolate apples in the Fall (and sometimes in the Spring, add bunny ears for Easter) come in a wide variety of flavors to fit every taste. The only problem with Hilliards? I love to drop by Hilliard because you get a free sample when you arrive. They have cool stuff you don't find other places. They have awesome holiday and gift stuff. Great stocking stuffers. You can always get good deals after the holidays when items are marked down. One of my favorite things is the selection of their funny and sometimes a little irreverent greeting cards. Always a funny card to send a card for any occasion. Oh, also worth mentioning is the fact that you can get M&M's in single colors for shower favors, or to match wedding colors etc. Like any homemade chocolate store some things are a little pricey but you can also get tote free sample and a chocolate lollipop for 1. 25...

Not only does the store have a cute and warm environment, but the staff made us feel extremely welcomed. The three kind ladies, Shannon, Ava, and Michaela, helped us with some products, and then went a further mile to console my friend who was having a really tough day. When the employees go above and beyond to do good in the customer’s day, that’s how you know they are keepers!
