This park is very modern, it does certainly include activities for all ages but definitely has some park equipment only older kids (7 and up) are able to do.
My four-year-old loved his experience and especially the large rubber coated hill used to run up and down as a stairs for the multiple fun slides.
While we were there I noticed multiple kids or teens taking their bikes down the rubber coated hill. The hill caused them to go at extremely fast speeds and they weaving between park equipment and kids. It was very unsafe for the kids running up and down the hill and at the playground equipment. If one kid ran out in front of them there’s no way they could’ve braked safely with the speeds they were going down that hill.
When I saw that the kids on the bikes continued to do this I had my four-year-old leave that area due to how unsafe it was. I saw no signs anywhere at the top of the hill or at the park entrance that said no bikes, because clearly you’re able to ride your bike on the paths designated around the pond and around the playground. I think a common sense person or adult would know not to ride their bike through the park THAT FAST but there was no one to enforce that these kids not drive through the rubber coated playground. I recommend possibly a sign be put up or someone to enforce that bikes are not ridden through the main playground area...
Read moreI would definitely look elsewhere for a wedding venue it was very average at best. They have very strict rules . We were not able to put anything on the walls or use any kind of heating candles for the food and did not accommodate our needs as issues came up . . Oh and don’t plan on getting your deposit back they kept that for ridiculous reasons ! Also did not like that we had to share the restrooms and part of the building with the public. The inside is pretty the windows are very lovely, but you have to keep the shades down because all of the people from the park hanging around the building. We had several groups of people taking pictures right outside the window that interfered with our pictures. Definitely not the place to go if you want an intimate private wedding. If you like a picnic style wedding that involves the public then this is the place! I also did not care for the amount of space for the food. I found it very inadequate for a venue that should accommodate 100 people there’s not enough room for food set up besides a couple tables when you walk in. I think this is probably suited more for children’s birthday parties, graduation parties, things of...
Read moreSeriously amazing playground!
This summer we have been on a quest to visit nearly every playground in the western half of the metro, and this park is easily at the top of the list! They have so many different structures that are unique, huge, and fun. My two year old loved the giant rubber hill, filled with climbing obstacles, slides, and other fun structures. He also really liked the sand pit area with climbing walls, rocks, and climbing nets.
The entire park is brand new as of October 2015, and includes an ice track for the winter that can be used for rollerblading in the summer, a big open grass field, a main building with seasonal concessions and bathrooms, and a gathering space that can be rented.
My wife described the playground area as "Dr. Seuss' playground". It is full of bright colors, huge climbing structures, and tons of different things to do. We played here for over an hour and the only reason we left is because mom and dad had to get going, not because our 2 year old even considered it!
Overall, its well worth even a roadtrip to come check out this...
