Our actual server I loved but support staff and anyone else that helped us didn't help at all. We waited 44 minutes for 1 taco. I brought my mom out to eat. I got my salad entree and she only got a side of rice that was supposed to come with a taco she ordered also. Then waited 20 minutes or more for that 1 taco to come to go with her little side of rice, which is now cold. The taco came out soggy and soaking wet. I believe it was the manager that came out (she didnt say who she was) that said there was confusion in the kitchen so sorry for the wait. My mom said, "it was supposed to be like a meal that went with my rice" the lady said "do you want me to order more rice?" . .... but that didn't make sense because now the taco would be cold also. She said no. It's fine. We just wanna eat. She then took a bite and it was completely dripping wet soggy through 2 soft shells with a vinaigrette type sauce that tasted italian. Told our waitress who was so apologetic and took it away. They comped the $3 taco and rice. But now my mom was sat with no meal. 1 bite of the warm rice waiting in hopes of the tacos arrival. 44 minutes or more waiting for a $3 happy hour taco.... so disappointing. Mind you everyone else around us was being served and some had tacos in the cute little taco holder things. Also I'd give 5 stars for just OUR server, she was so sweet but 0 stars for all the rest and possible manager that talked to us that did nothing. A 2 top table and everything just took forever. I don't understand at all. - added in the pictures is my old review. Apparently it's just getting worse here.

Let me preface this particular review by adding that my previous visits to the 3 Squares Restaurant have been good. I went for lunch on a weekend and there was a wait. No problem, until groups coming in after me, getting on list and being seated before I was seated. It took going up there and addressing the situation before it was rectified. They apologized and while we ordered offered us a free appetizer or certain desserts. My daughter got the cheese curds served with a spicy red sauce and an some sort of apple dipping sauce. I did not eat any but she said they were "okay." I ordered the chicken pesto papperdelle dish. This dish was suppose to have a basil tomato moray, parmesan, sweet bell peppers, and grilled ciabatta (best part of the dish). Some of the pasta was sticking to each other, pieces of chicken breast were cooked okay, but the sauce not so much. It reminded me of the sauce you get when making one of those package chicken noodles. I even had my daughter taste to be sure. Overall, I was not happy and left 98% of my dish untouched. My daughter, on the other hand, had the steak and perogies. She said it was good. On a positive note, our waitress, Kelly, was very personable and on point. Extremely pleased. Service rating is strictly based on our waitress and not the service received upon entering the restaurant. I will go back because previous visits were by far more successful.

Stopped by here on a Sunday after a Tournament around 2ish. Fortunately the brunch crowd was winding down so only about a 20 minute wait. Staff was friendly and courteous, our waitress made sure to check on us regularly throughout our meal. We started with pierogi as an appetizer, they came out nice and hot with a great filling of potato and cheese. My kiddo had the kids mac and cheese plate, the tray it came on was a cute way to serve it. I had the herbed chicken sandwich with a salad. The sandwich was flavorful (the chibata bread had a good crisp bit soft inside) and the salad was alright but I had to pull the olives off it. My wife had the turkey burger and black bean soup. The turkey burger was not dry and had very nice flavor, the soup is a nice pairing to have in place of fries. For dessert we all shared the key lime pie (came with sorbet) and chocolate mouse cake (came with ice cream). The cake was not overly sweet and was made with dark chocolate. Overall a great place to stop by. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely try some different things.

I'm sure there's something they do here that's outstanding, but I didn't have it when I was there. On paper they sounded really good, with a menu that was an eclectic mix of comfort food, breakfast favorites and fresh ingredient lite fare. The problem was everything was kind of boring, or off, and tasted a bit like cafeteria food. The cheese curds were very good, but were dumped on the plate between two pools of sauces, leaving many curds swimming in a sauce you might not like: applesauce or spicy tomato something. I didn't like either, but the apple was at least inspired by a classic combo and showed imagination. Flank steak salad was a deconstructed affair with almost no dressing, and personally, I don't want to have to work that hard when I'm paying you for already prepared food (see picture). The beef that came with it really tasted like those pre-cooked roasts they slice at the deli. I frankly don't believe it was cooked in-house. Drink prices were too high for the quantity, and the service was not good: twice forgot to enter items we had ordered.

My father and I were looking for somewhere to eat, and had been to lots of different places with no luck of finding a restaurant that had dine in. We finally came upon 3 Squares, deciding that if this place didn’t have dine in we just would settle for something less. Fortunately, 3 Squares DID have dine in. The place is very bright and comfortable, and had interesting lights and design layout. I ordered the Pesto Pasta and my dad ordered the Braised Short Rib. The pasta was very good, and the asparagus, etc.. added a nice flavor to it. We also ordered the Molten Brownie for dessert. It looked huge when it came out but it was mainly the whip cream that made the dessert look so big. Also very good. The waitress was very nice but it did take a while for our waitress to take our orders- nonetheless, It was a nice experience and left us full with good food.
