I really like Winn Dixie most of the time, but today I had to go back because my digital coupons didn't work, and I didn't notice till I got home. This is not the first time this has happened, so I decided to go back to the store. I waited about 10 minutes at customer service, which was fine, it was busy, but what wasn't fine was Heidi behind the customer service desk. She was very abrupt and rude. She did give me my money back right away, but said she would only do it this time, and wouldn't explain why. She said I would have to call the number on the card. Then I asked her to explain the gas rewards points, and when they expire. She said I didn't have any, so it didn't matter. I knew I didn't have and because they all expired, and I wanted to know how they worked. Now there was only 1 person in line behind me, and I had already waited 10 minutes to get this answer, so it wasn't like I was making a lot of other people wait, she told me she didn't know how the points worked. I asked her is I could talk to someone who knew. She didn't want to do that, then she gave me a brief explanation, not very good, and so rude, I just decided to leave.    Read moreI recently visited the Marco Island location. My cashier Sarah at customer service was very unpleasant. After ringing up my order she proceeded to tell me that I shouldn’t of gone into that line because I had more than five items and that I had cut off other people in front of me. She told me customer service was only for lottery tickets and returns. There were many of people in front of me that had more than five items. The only reason we use the customer service line was because only three out of the six registers were being utilized in a busy time and all the registers were backed up to the aisles where you could not even walk through. I’m sorry you had to do your job Sarah, have a good day . Maybe next time I’ll make a return and purchase a lottery ticket. I called immediately to file a complaint with Stephen Sheppard the “manager “ He quickly dismissed me without apologizing for her actions or behavior. It’s no wonder why there is only one Winn-Dixie in the area. Poor customer service! Looks like PUBLIX still continues to have upper edge and better customer service. Hmmmm..    Read moreI like the store, but hate two things. #1 incorrect prices posted in front of items but yet refer to an item further down the shelf. #2 their BOGO NEVER... show a price in the ads. Then, when you go to check the price in person, the price is higher than normal for the item and the BOGO deal isn't really a big deal at all... So yeah, other than the deceptive advertising they choose to use, I like the selection available, people working in the store and deli created foods. They would get 5 stars if they only slowed up on the creative...
