Wake Up Marco — Restaurant in Marco Island

As a previous specialty coffee trader/sales person who has worked in the industry I can say the coffee is fantastic. I also had the pleasure of meeting and talking to the owner, Oscar who has been in the industry for 20+ years (I believe - either way, a notable time). I ordered a cortado and enjoyed it so much (particularly because I had been having to endure horrific coffee at the JW Marriott down the road while staying there with my family.) I’m so happy to know there is great coffee on Marco Island and we will be back. I also want to add when my 4 and 2 year old were amidst a chocolate chip scone strife (unwilling to share one) Oscar didn’t hesitate in offering a second. Best organic coffee shop and Oscar makes the most delicious lattes. I get the oat milk latte and my husband gets a regular latte. Both are so delicious we go every single day to get one. Oscar is kind, knowledgeable and always makes our drink for us when we walk in the door (he remembers what we like). It’s the best kept secret on Marco Island. We are driving around South Florida on our most recent trip to America. We always find it a challenge to get excellent espresso in the states with a nice rich flavour and silky milk. Wake Up Marco has exactly this; amazing tasting espresso and perfectly steamed milk- silky and not blisteringly hot. We only discovered this place on our second last day but we got some take out on the way to Tampa for good measure. The barista (owner too?) gave us a tip off for our next good coffee hit...
