DONT BUY A MYSTERY BOX!! I REPEAT, DONT BUY A MYSTERY BOX!! The reviews here say great in store experience, but all the reviews about their online are negative. I used to be a loyal customer and have easily spent $2000 plus with Plastic Empire, but never again. They’ve turned into a scam and would rather rob you than provide actual customer service. DEFINITELY DO NOT BUY A MYSTERY BOX WITH THEM. THERES SO MANY REVIEWS ABOUT THEM SENDING DAMAGED POPS. They’ve personally sent me multiple damaged pops now. They even sent me a damaged pop for a $250 mystery purchase (where they guaranteed value of $250 which it didn’t meet and then refused to let me return it). What kind of honest retailer does that?

If you want an actual good mystery box or somewhere to purchase Funkos, I’d recommend Chalice Collectibles. They’ve easily surpassed Plastic Empire in terms of value and customer appreciation. As long as Plastic Empire seemingly doesn’t care about their customers, more companies will continue to pass them up. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Dont try saying I don’t like the “rules” when you’re the one who sends damaged goods that are under the value you supposedly guarantee. Sounds pretty hypocritical buddy.

It’s true an exchange was offered, but this is most definitely a customer service issue. They have a consistent track record of being a greedy, money hungry company. If you want to cancel an order, guess what, 20% “service charge”. If one of your orders doesn’t get delivered by the post office, they won’t help you to file a claim to get your money back from the shipper. If you want to return your damaged item, nope too bad because they can’t lose out on a sale. They don’t even honor their minimum value guarantee on mystery boxes. THE FUNKO DIDNT COME DAMAGED DUE TO SHIPPING. THE BOX IT WAS SHIPPED IN WAS PERFECT SO THEY SHIPPED A DAMAGED POP AND THEN ARE SURPRISED WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS UPSET.

The exchange they wanna offer is for what? Another pop that doesn’t meet the value they promised? They’ll probably tell me I need to pay for shipping the item back to them too. DONT BUY HERE, NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS AND YOU CAN FIND WAY WAY BETTER MYSTERY BOXES ON WHATNOT, CHALICE COLLECTIBLES, and TOY TEMPLE!

Their common pops are even overpriced compared to major retailers like GameStop, entertainment earth, Hot Topic, or FYE. THERES LITERALLY NO REASON TO BUY HERE. THEYRE MORE EXPENSIVE AND THEY DONT...

This is a follow up to your response to my 1 star review as I said in the review. You diddnt even look at my pops NONE OF THEM WERE DAMAGED!! They never been out of the box. I had 10 inch Pokemon funko pops the 2 ladies said the boss says don’t buy Pokemon 10 inch Funko pops because we have so many and can’t sell them and offered me 1$. So for you to respond and LIE about you looked at my pops and they were damaged is a LIE. I drove over 25 miles to come to your store because you promote that you buy Funko pops but I didnt know I would be low Balled for a pop I bought for 25$ that recently resold at $50 2 days ago on eBay and you said 1$ it was a waste of time and really a scam because you wouldn’t have put it on the clearance. Because it’s not a clerence item or you would’ve had them on the floor for sale. But I found a better store that gave me a better offer the name is Toy Chest and they’re not far from your store. OK let's get down to it. I've been waiting to write a review. These guys will scam you do not do it. I came up there with two crates of full of pop dolls and other items. I waited several minutes and in that time I realised it was wasted I spent money I didn't have for transportation to get up there with two crates and when I was told that I was only going to get $140 in a check which I had to cash and pay a fee for cashing. It had me baffled the items I brought up minimum the store would've made $1500. I offered about 30 to 45 dolls and other items she told me because of the quality of them in the state that they were in this is all she could offer me I told her I could turn around and go on eBay and get the price that I am asking for.
