UPDATE THE REPLY BELOW FROM THEM IS JUST AS INEFFICIENT I WROTE THEM IMMEDIATELY AND STILL NO RESPONSE DONT FALL FOR THE RESPONSIVENESS SEEMING LIKE THEY ARE CONCERNED AND WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT So if I could give this a zero I would..and most of the negative was the experience before I even reached the park....their online system for buying tickets is a sham..I bought one ticket it asked a date then I added another ticket it didn't ask for a date so of course I assume that it bundled it with the other but no once I purchased the tickets it sold me one for the day I asked and one fore that day which the park was already closed for that day...already like you really sale a ticket for a closed park dumb enough right....then I tried to contact the park...the national number..and the live chat after combined holds of over 3 hours I gave up that night woke up the next morning doing the same things calling leaving messages writing emails and trying for live chat....I sat on the live chat for 1 hour and 28 mins I have screen shots of all of this and finally someone came on...they told me I had to purchase two more tickets in order to get a refund for those two which was insane in itself to me...only one was messed up....but kicker is the live rep told me I needed to purchase and the try to get back in touch with them I refused I went ahead and purchased they refunded for the first two which took over a week to get.....then I drive the two hours to meet some people there to have my new tickets scanned to tell me oh these are for six flags not white water....are u freaking kidding me so I had to purchase TWO MORE TICKETS so all in all 6 tickets for just two people for one day....insane so I had right at 300 bucks tied into this at this point....I go in the tell me to go to guest services to resolve my issue of the wrong park tickets.....first thing they said was oh u should of called us we would of let u use the first tickets.....and I had just told the lady the whole spill like lady yall were the first number I called....like seriously....then they right down the info to the wrong tickets and told me someone would contact me via email to inform me of the refund....I have yet to receive that email it has been 6 days...so I go online and write an email they write me back a day later and I give them all the info leaving nothing out and they never write back a day later I write again and say I mean are yall going to write me acting like you want to resolve this issue and then not say anything when I tell you the issue.....finally the responded saying so you need a refund for this # and this # I said yes...next day have STILL NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL.... now the park itself I bought one ticket with an all day drink pass.....I waiting in line for I know 20 mins just to get a drink and he said oh we have the cup but no straw I was like u know what it's fine....got my drink and was good then went to a refreshment hut later for a free refill and after waiting in that line for 15 mins he says oh where is your wrist band I was like huh...so apparently I was supposed to be given a wrist band with the cup itself to get the refills so I just literally waited here for nothing and paid for unlimited drinks for what...no to mention it was packed several rides were down...make that known to people before they spend their hard earned money to visit....this was a joke and I'm still waiting on my email and my...
Read moreDo you like standing in line for hours on end? Or just standing in general? If so this park is for you.
For just $25, you can start waiting in line as soon as you pull up to the lot. We guaranteed it takes at least 10 minutes to get to the lot entrance where we will rip you off for $30 of parking, and then another $20 for lockers, if you decide to bring your stuff in.
If you don't want to pay $20 to store your $15 towel, you can also find a chair and drape over it, that way this will help keep the park crowded and prevent anyone else from, god forbid, finding a place to sit.
But's that's not all, if you enjoy the thrill of traffic jams, be sure to head on over to any of the slides that are not closed, where you can stand in line for 60-90 minutes for a 20s ride. Be sure to watch the fast past people zip past you multiple turns at a time while you stand there wondering where it all went wrong, this will be sure to add to an enjoyable experience for the average park goer.
As the old stairs creek, and water leak from the dilapidated slides onto your head, and you shiver against the breeze, be sure you thank the kind management team for designing such an amazing contraption to take away your money and your time on this fine beautiful Sunday. For an even better experience and longer lines, be sure to visit on a Saturday when it is twice as crowded.
But that's not all. After standing in line for 2 hours, much like standing in a traffic jam during rush hour with the only difference being that you actually paid for Six Flags for this amazing experience, you will realize that you are hungry. Yes, it had taken the whole day and now it is 3 in the afternoon, so head on over to one of the understaffed booths and grab yourself some overpriced chicken strips for $20. You will most likely wait 40 minutes if you are lucky, but most likely an hour to get these overpriced strips and some poorly made fries.
Then feel free to look around for a seat and be disappointed that there are no seats, since it is overcrowded. Then head on over to one of the empty beach recliners, only to realize they all have towels draped over them for the entire day, because people most likely standing in line, don't want to lose their precious seating spot. All this of course could go away if you pay hundreds more for a cabana. So you see, it is all engineered to pump more money into this nightmare that Six Flags so carefully engineered for an enjoyable experience.
They overloaded an understaffed park with people. Give them no seating area. and then charge them hundreds of dollars for fast past or a cabana if they want to have any semblance of an enjoyable time. If you are dehydrated because there are no water fountains around, be sure to stand for another 30 minutes to get a water refill (if you have one of those green bottles), or head to a vending machine for a $6 bottle only to find it is sold out.
Six Flags, a water park experience worse than a third world...
Read moreFirst off, let me say this definitely not worth spending a day or half of that trying to find a manager in the park when everyone says on a busy Saturday, which normally there are managers around the park there are no managers. Absolutely terrible employee awareness, concern, and recognition of a customer issue that seems to be, not just in this instance but in other situations. Let me tell you this do not buy a flash pass at the park. You will be very misinformed and lead to believe that buying the ultimate which is $125 plus an $85 deposit on a watch, you will get back when you return allow you to skip the line in front of other flash pass guest who have premium which is the middle and standard these. When you deal with children who pretty much work at this park, you get unresolved issues and get run all around all over the place trying to find general managers of some caliber in the park when dealing with the customer complaint or they would rather get security on you when the situation doesn’t even warrant.
Overall, beware when you do buy a flash pass because though we spent an extra $125 plus the $85 on the ultimate flash pass we had to wait in line and we’re not able to cut in front of the line as they told us when we bought the passes, very deceptive tactics and it wasn’t until we met a Mr. Ingram who is the manager of food service at the town hall building where management seems to hide instead of walking around the park on a busy Saturday he was the one who was able to address the issue to rectify the situation and getting us a full refund of the passes as well as having the manager talk to us, provided us with free beverages and also gave us tickets to the holiday season Six Flags entry to Halloween or the holiday season access. It honestly would be better for Six Flags to have one tier of a flash pass that benefits paying extra, and just having everyone have the same band across-the-board, and not the tears because the lifeguards and other ride entry attendance are not aware of the policy of the flash pass and can’t hold Any account what belongs to what you end up standing in a line of flash people once your bracelet is scanned and it really doesn’t benefit you to pay all that money to have a an ultimate flash pass just get a standard and by the time you get through the fast pass it will be time for you to ride. Also, you will pay $30 for parking so unless you are a season-ticket holder, will you get benefits from the park because entry is about $70 plus $30 for parking plus fast pass tears from about 1.25 and below.
Mr. Ingram, who definitely should be considered for an assistant park manager overall definitely helps to rectify the situation and also provide some sort of understanding of how the flash pass would be beneficial which definitely needs to be when there are more than a couple hundred people in the park when there is a park full of people that is sold out that is when the pass comes...
