Cook Out — Restaurant in Marietta

Ok so here it goes. Family wanted to try something new. We normally got to 5 Guys or Stockyard Burgers in the Avenues.

Ordered the big double cheese burger with bacon, pickles, tomato and lettuce. Got two sides hush puppies and fries. And a butter finger shake.

Wife ordered something similar as did my my little girl

First clue to a bad review of the restaurant, as we sat almost directly from the counter was how many people brought back thier food for various reasons. It was seven people and the young ladies were handeling it as if this is normal to have orders wrong!?!

I knew it was going to be interesting. Our order came up, Young lady didn't know which shake was which and nothing marked.

As we opened up our burgers sure enough my burger was a single with no bacon and pickles. Went to get it corrected as the young lady took it back. Wife says I am number 9 on the wrong order line LOL.

No later than I sat down the young lady comes back to give me my correct burger in 20 seconds WOW!!!

The food quality is below average The fries are bland and the hush puppies over cooked. Take if from me go to 5 Guys or Stockyard Burgers. Service is average with normalcy on messed up orders.

Oh, thier burger are way small and the bacon is faux bacon. No wonder it took them 20 seconds to slap the cheap stuff on.

Greasy and the shakes are bad. My little girl (7yrs old) asked why we didn't go to 5 Guys her milk shake had no taste for a straight Vanilla shake. And she didnt finish over half of the burger.

Overall bad experience but, I get the impression that's the normal operations here. Save yourself a trip and go to 5 Guys where service and the food quality is ALOT BETTER!!

I don't recommend this place at all!!!! Poor food quality!!!

Cleanliness: Tables filthy and sticky, trash can over pouring....

I've gone to this particular restaurant about three or four different times within the last forty or so days. I was curious why there's always a line for the drive-thru window.

My first trip there I ordered a barbecue pork sandwich. Two sides were coleslaw and fries. There was barely any barbecue sauce on the sandwich. I would estimate out of ten bites of this sandwich, only one bite had barbecue sauce in it. I was disappointed. I needed barbecue sauce in every bite.

In addition, I did not get a spoon or fork for the coleslaw. I thought this was something you automatically get. I had to use my fingers. The fries were not okay. Gotta have the ketchup for those.

My next trip? I wanted to give it another try. I again ordered the barbecue pork sandwich with the coleslaw and fries.

I made sure to ask for extra barbecue sauce for the sandwich... once at the beginning of my placing the order along with asking for a spoon and again as a reminder after completing my order. I got an OKAY.

Would you know it happened again? I did quickly checked my bag for the spoon before pulling off. I had to ask for that again. But I didn't want to take up anymore time at the window because I really wanted check the sandwich before leaving. But there were several cars behind me so I moved on. Again there was barely any barbecue sauce on the sandwich. They must have put only one teaspoon of sauce for that whole sandwich.

I did go back to them few days later. This time I just ordered a cheeseburger fry and a coke. They really do need to change-up the way they do fries.

I expect better for the foods I order and better service. Apparently judging from the long line, long wait, this doesn't bother a lot of people....

Me and my friend had to wait 40 minutes for our shake. My friend got hers But apparently another customer took mine or the employees just didn’t make it, and when I brought this to their attention, she mumbled under her breath” that was already made” okay but I didn’t get my shake ? Obviously . And then she wants to give me an attitude about the water cup that I had already paid for that she forgot to give me. She tried to say that I already ate the shake and that I wanted a second one. I can barely drink one shake, that is 800 calories. It felt as though the lady was being discriminatory towards us because of our race. My friend touched the counter while she was ordering and the lady working stopped what she was doing, side eyed my friend with a dirty look, Side eyed the counter, And then proceeded in the middle of taking our order to clean the exact spot only where my friend touched the counter. And then everything we would touch in the store she would go clean specifically just what we touched. So she didn’t give me my water cup, and then gaslighted me about it, didnt give me my milkshake and then gaslighted me about that as well, And then she got an attitude each time I asked about the milk milkshake proceeding my placing of the order. I would’ve obviously had it. If I was sitting in there, you would’ve seen me eating it.. this behavior is horrible . The parking lot has trash all over it. The trash cans were full in the men’s bathroom was disgusting.. I’m sorry that it’s so hard to just give me what I ordered. I worked in fast food for 3 years and not once did I treat customers like this. It’s honestly just sad that we got treated that way… please do better . I never want...
