Visited on Sun 9/26/21 @ 5:20pm & by far the WORSE experience to the Big Chicken. This place SHOULD just close it's doors. Between the employees & the Chicken, just deplorable. First of all, the young guy @ the register had NO clue what he was doing, ringinalg up WRONG food(choices, sides & drinks). Watched MANY customers SHORTED orders,, MISSING items.. And a FEW just PLAIN WALK OUT.. Mgr. even addressed this several times. Chicken, IF that's what you want to call it were the the tiniest pcs, we EVER saw( which was from Carrollton). We've seen BABY chick's BIGGER than they were serving. WHERE'S THE CHICKEN?? I know..I know, it's Covid..or everyone assumes. Quality & Quantity goes down, while the Price goes up! I'd been ASHAMED to of served that. Between the drumette leg & the thigh in my 2pc dinner, the total of meat on both averaged a tiny thigh.(for $5.99 + tax-- come on now). Was SUPPOSED to of been Krispy-the thigh MIGHT of been abt 12 noon. NOT SURE WHAT IT WAS, leg was ORIGINAL..GO FIGURE..Husband order the 3pc Tender Box-ALL 3 together, made 1. Here again, Quality & Quantity--NON EXSTIENT! WE asked for UNSWEET Tea as the Drink, the young guy @ the counter looked as if THAT might be something "FOREIGN". Low & Behold, you guessed it..it was "SWEET" tea(terrible as it was). The guy went to the Drive-THRU to get it- ONLY SWEET tea in the drink section.. My husband is Diabetic & CAN'T have sugar & I DON'T use it. YOU COULD PUT A DIABETIC IN A COMA DOING THAT..REALLY?? ESPECIALLY with the amount of sugar that was in that.. BOTH went back to the counter to COMPLAIN abt being given SWEET tea., where we were told "WE DON'T HAVE ANY UNSWEET TEA". Hmmm..COULDN'T we of been told that upon ordering?? Guess that DIDN'T dawn on them. Takes the SAME amount of time to make unsweet tea-all a matter of which button you push on the machine. 2 meals $12.70, might NOT seem a "BIG DEAL" to some people, BUT when you WORK HARD for your MONEY & ALL this takes place..it is "A DEAL BREAKER". We have lived in the area 38yrs & visited/enjoyed "THE BIG CHICKEN". KFC & THE CITY OF MARIETTA, SHOULD OF KEPT THE PLACE A LANDMARK BUILDING-BUILDING ONLY!! NO FOOD! TOTAL! TOTAL DIASTER. WON'T GET ANOTHER CHANCE WITH US AFTER ALL THESE YRS. CLOSE DOWN-REGROUP WITH BETTER EMPLOYEES WHO CARE & KNOW ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, & FIND SUPPLIERS WHO WON'T RIP YOU OFF IN YOUR STANDARDS OF FOOD PRODUCTS. Read moreI was very unimpressed with the current day Big Chicken. When I entered the restaurant, a young man who worked the front was sitting playing with his phone and was in no hurry to come take my order. When he finally did, I barely got out of my mouth that I wanted a meal number (whatever) before he said, "Will that be all?" I told him the side choices I wanted and before I could order my second meal for my husband, he cut me off the same way. I told him no, I wanted a meal number (whatever) and again, he cut me off before I could tell him what side dishes I wanted. This continued for the next two orders. He was clearly in a rush for me to finish my order. When I finally finished and paid, he hurried back to sit in the dining area and got back to his phone.
As I stood waiting, I realized that I had felt so pressured, I ordered the wrong sides for one of the meals. There were three people working (or mostly standing around waiting for the chicken to come up), and I kept trying to get their attention to change the 2 sides. When a young lady finally came to the front counter, I told her what happened and asked if she could change the order. She said yes and went back to tell the older woman (manager?) what I had asked. Then they did nothing but stand there waiting for the chicken. When the older woman brought me my food, all bagged up in there large bags, I apologized for having to change the order and thanked her. She said, no problem and went back to the back again.
When I got home, I quickly realized that they had not made any of the changes I had asked for. Seriously, it was only 2 sides they were asked to change and they couldn't be bothered to do it.
BTW, there was nobody else in line or in the drive thru. My family and I won't...

I arrived at the drive thru at 9:10pm on Sunday evening, noticing other vehicles in front of me, reversing and backing up from the order screen. When it was my turn, I was told the 'system' is down and to come back in 10 minutes. I backed up into a parking spot and tried to enter the lobby. It was locked. The hours printed on the door said Closes at 10pm, and Lobby closes at 10pm, clearly almost an hour before printed closing time. I got back in my vehicle and saw 2 other cars drive up to the drive thru and successfully ordered. So I drove back to the drive thru and ordered. I was told the only available chicken was crispy, with no other options available. I ordered an 8 piece family meal with 2 orders of mash potatoes and gravy. When I pulled up to pay, they couldn't find my order on the screen and asked if I placed my order at the speaker, which clearly I did. I asked for hot sauce packets, and told they didn't have alot. So I was only given 2 packets of hot sauce, for 8 pieces of chicken! When I got home, the order came with 4 biscuits and they were so hard, they were incredibly hard. So hard, that I dropped one one the floor andbit didn't break. When I tried to split the biscuit, it crumbled into dozens of pieces, clearly unedible. And I was only given 1 container of gravy for 2 orders of mash potatoes. The order was close to $30, and was such a waste. Sorry KFC, either figure it out or continue losing customers. My recommendation, go somewhere else. This lication was The Big Chicken, clearly a national spotlight restaurant. But this location is managed so poorly, it's a wonder they are still...
